The media could not be loaded. This was great! My hair around my edges were dry and the fit was tight but not irritatingly tight. Great Quality, and great protection for my Locs. Wore it in the ocean and the pool!

The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased a Waterproof Silicone Swim Cap for my regular swimming sessions, and I had the chance to test it out in a spa pool. I took this cap on vacation and it was a huge success for me! I wore this cap in the swimming pool, the ocean and in the hot tub and my hair stayed dry. I have locs and keeping dry is important to me because they are heavy when wet and can take forever to dry!! This cap was comfortable. I highly recommend!

I got the medium size it fits nice and tight. As I’m swimming water still finds its way in gets my hair wet. Maybe I need to try sizing down.

This cap took some getting used to but overall I really like it.Pro's: Truly fits all my thick, long hair. In fact, there's plenty of extra room. I don't have an afro or extensions or dreads, but I bought this cap specifically because all the other caps I've bought prior never have enough room for all my hair, even though they say they are made for long hair. The material is thicker than previously owned caps. Hopefully it's more durable because of this. Feels like it will be It stays put. Over my ears, on my forehead. I don't have to constantly pull it down every lap (like other caps).Cons: Took me awhile to decide if I liked wearing my goggles under the cap or over the cap. Over the cap keeps air pockets to a minimum. The more air, the more it acts like a floatation device. Will not work well if you are racing and going for aerodynamics. Fortunately, I'm a slow swimmer and don't care that it helps keep my head afloat. Maybe if I had more hair and filled the cap this would not be an issue. It also pushes my goggles down and this can cause some discomfort for my eyes. I have found this to be my preference though and I just set the cap a little higher on my forehead. This doesn't make it as waterproof, but that's not my goal as caps are not meant to be waterproof. I use caps to keep hair out of my face. If I wear my goggles under the cap then the goggles are more comfy, but the cap fills with too much air and I bob on the surface like a buoy. This is sooo big I can easily put my whole head inside of it. This could be dangerous for a small child and suffocation. I actually do put my whole head inside when putting it on cause it's just easier to adjust that way, but do be cautious.Overall I like this cap more than any other I've used and would buy again.

I ordered an extra-large swim cap for my lower back length locs. The moment I opened the package I knew that this purchase was a FAIL! The cap itself was NOT extra-large at all, and once I tried it on - my disappointment was confirmed. I returned the swim cap, as it was not large enough or folks like me with long locs. Very Disappointed!

This is a review for the downsized version. Please see pics for comparison to the TYR long hair cap and this cap. Quite a difference. I was looking for something for casual swimming hair protection and I think this will fit the bill.Using a well choreographed dance in the pool shower stall, I am able to get my hair into the TYR cap and am very happy with it for lap swimming. It is quite form fitting and keeps most of the pool water out (although I do saturate my hair with tap water prior to putting it on- the purpose to keep as much chlorine out of my hair as possible rather than keep it dry). Not fashionable, but gets the job done.So I was wanting something else that I could use to keep my hair dry while hanging out with kids at the pool or beach, that I could get in easier and wouldn't look like I was about to start a triathalon. This cap is nice and roomy, not tight at all and I have more than enough room for my single braid of hair. It is made of a lighter weight and stretchier silicone than my TYR cap and the opening is larger. This should do fine for "hanging-out" but not "working-out" at the pool and will also work well as a shower cap. I do not think I could use it for lap swimming or trust it to keep the water out as well if I put my head totally under water because the opening is much looser.Hope this helps those trying to figure out what size you might need for your hair quantity and activity level.

Took this with me on my vacation to Jamaica. I have long box braids and all fit under the cap and it looked great on my head, best of all it kept my hair dry. Be sure to put it on well over your ears or water will get through.

I’m very pleasantly surprised by the amount of space in this cap. I have a LOT of thick braids plaited in an updo and always avoided aqua sports for fear of wetting my hair. Also bleach is a killer on my type of curly hair. Snug around forehead ears and nape this fits perfectly .. Ears protection good. Well sealed to prevent leakage. Easy to put on as very stretchy to go over big hair bun. All in all a great buy. Will comment on performance in the water after I’ve given it a test drive. I like the robust thickness so it won’t rip too easily.

Dichtet gut ab, viel Raum für Haar. Auch nach dem Färben mit Pflanzenfarbe super geeignet um Farbtropfen zu verhindern.
