I am involved in a very large cabinet refinishing project and was hoping that the .8mm was going to work with the sealer since it isn't too thick. My goal was to use this HVLP sparingly for indoor work but it worked out so well that I a using it as my main tool for this entire job of 80 doors. Hopefully it will hold up. I have completed 40 doors so far and had two orifices get plugged but that is to be expected. There was a bit of oil in the gun so be sure to clean that first. Glad I bought this.

I purchased this sprayer to expedite the process of staining a fence. The sprayer says it should be used up to 40 PSI, but handled 50 well for un-thinned wood stain. It's really easy to clean and had better fluid/air flow control than I expected. Playing around with it further with other fluid consistencies, I have no gripes to express with this sprayer. It does its job admirably without hassle. It does really well what it was meant to do with a great price compared to other sprayers.

I gotta say I’m a little pissed off. I’m a guitar maker and have been using a CA Technologies TJR jam gun I for my instruments. Can’t remember what I paid for it but it currently sells for $250. I bought this little marvel for 20 bucks. It lays down a perfect pebbles coat ( which is perfect for me), I think I’ve only cleaned it once over a few months of nearly daily use. The TJR was ok but finicky, required constant cleaning and adjustments. Not reliable on a day to day basis. I can’t believe I could have bot 12 of these compared to the “quality” brand. I use waterborne lacquer. I can’t recommend this low budget gem more. Get a couple before they figure out they could charge much more.

Worked really well at first. Used it to spray furniture and cabinets. Very diligent about taking gun apart and throughly cleaning after each use. After about 9 months, it got clogged and no longer would spray. Would spit and inconsistent spray. Ended up going with a bit more expensive gun which is easier to take apart and clean. I bought this when 1st hit Amazon, as a replacement for using an airbrush on stuff just too big for an airbrush, and I needed something with a tip size comparable to the largest available for an airbrush. Plus, being a for former Auto Paint guy working my way thru college night classes, I freaking hate the O airbrush spray pattern. Finally got around to using this thing to spray some KG Industries coatings, and absolutely think this thing kicks butt. Get a real paint gun regulator w/ gauge, water trap filter, and put it to work. My cup has shattered, after a few days of use. But, I can't say for certain if it's from being junk, or sitting for 2 years without fluid exposure, or maybe it just like being cleaned with acetone. It's not a SATA, but it's also not Cost $'s x 2, then put a $--0.00 after it. Either way, Thumbs Up!!!
