Denix Mini Civil War Saber Letter Opener

It works and we are using it, but I bought it to replace one we lost. It is bigger and heavier than expected so we are disappointed and still looking for a smaller, lighter model.

I bought this for my husband who is a Cavalry Scout. It looks great in his award/ coin display case. Good quality and nice size.

this item is a very good representation of the full size item and looks very authentic. It is well made and has a nice color job

Beautiful model and wonderful to hold, however when I opened the package and looked at it closer I noticed that the blade was out of alignment with the slit in the handle. I also found that the blade was wiggly and that a part of the handle was separating from itself slightly. It's nothing that I can't fix with glue but it was disappointing. Assuming that this isn't normal though I give this sword four stars. If the blade was on properly it is a beautiful model and I would definitely recommend it to a friend. I havnt opened a letter with this one yet because of the blade but I think any with a firm blade attached would do the job just fine.

This letter opener replaced my last one that blew apart on me. This one has little of the quality of the first. The plating on the blade is wrinkled in places and dull in others. Shaken by the blade, there is a rattle. The first one came with a scabbard, this one didn't. Not sending it back since it the only one of it's kind.

Just as described. Good quality doesnt seem cheap made

The silver alloy plating on the blade is cracked, chipped and has debri in it. Not sure if handle is supposed to be loose, but it is. Returning before even testing on mail.
