My vertebrae T7 has a pinched nerve, gives me pain & causes my body to want to to slump over. This back support doesn’t make me stand up completely straight, but is definitely good enough – AND is lots better than other posture correctors I’ve tried for sure. My posture looks better as well as it makes me stand up straighter keeping the pressure off of that nerve. The arm straps do not cut into your skin either. It had a very slight smell when I took it out of the package, but I just aired it out overnight & then was gone. However the box for whatever reason had some chemical smell - which is why I rated it 4 stars instead, but that smell was not on the package itself nor the product thankfully. This support is definitely worth buying. I also like that I can wear it underneath my t-shirt and not be noticeable. I first bought a black one and have since also bought a gray one to wear underneath light colored shirts and the color not show thru them. It's also comfortable to wear.
