The 3rd type of rocks for a beginner's collection. Eight year old grandson is ready to go on a field trip to gather his own matching samples as well as acquire some different ones. Really went over well for an educational present.

I like the size of the specimens. My students loved them.

The rocks in the kit are very small and all jumbled up. It's hard to organize them properly because they don't look very much like the picture on the box.
