Q: Whatever happened to size 4s? Seems several brands have dropped this and now my 46 year old self has to shop in the kids aisle....

I've had to go with a size 5 myself since I can't find anything smaller. I'm 48 and may have to shop in the kid department too.

Q: The leg is a high cut, correct?

I would describe them as a "moderate cut". They follow the line of the pelvic bone, hitting just above the hip/leg joint. I describe it this way because I was alive in the 80's when "high cut" was too the natural waist.
