Not so creepy anymore...
Used this for the creepy staircase going down into my basement. Now I don't have to walk all the way down thinking a serial killer is waiting for me until I'm able to turn on the light at the bottom. Now I can see the serial killer before I get there so there are no surprises. In all honesty, the staircase is still a bit creepy. Now it's just a "well lit" kind of creepy. Works great!

DANGEROUS!
We loved these lights for several weeks, and never gave a thought to any dangers. They're battery operated, we only turn them on occasionally in a china cabinet which holds ceramics and small objects, and they seemed to work perfectly. We began hearing a popping noise from the corner of the room where the cabinet stands. But it's near a window, and we thought there was a limb or birds flying against the panes. Nah. After some extremely loud pops in the night, I checked the cabinet lights the next day. All three units contained ruptured batteries! Battery acid ran onto my skin and burned me! Then I read the fine, fine print on back of one of the units, which said these units may explode. EXPLODE. And that's what had nearly happened. A few of the batteries had ruptured open, and I believe the actual units might have exploded if left much longer. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THESE LIGHTS. They are so lovely, but they're dangerously flawed. (And this site somehow made me select at least one star or it wouldn't load, so that's why I've clicked a star!) THIS IS NOT ACCURATE!

One Remote to Control Them All
Initially installed under kitchen cabinets as back-up emergency lighting for the inevitable hurricanes of Florida, these illuminate the kitchen workspaces well, although as they eat batteries like popcorn, they are reserved for power outages only. Also, they're a little tricky to remove from the bracket and reload with fresh batteries.BE ADVISED: All the lights work off the same frequency. If you purchase several sets for different rooms, any one remote controls ALL of them. Separate frequencies can not be programmed. If you live alone or like messing with your family and pets, this is no problem. However, in order to keep our kitchen lights from turning on each time someone turns on the closet light, we must keep the kitchen lights clicked to the OFF position. We'll turn on the kitchen lights and turn off the closet light during the next power outage. So, not overly convenient.

Light good, but the remote switch implementation has major issues.
The idea is good, and the remote switch is pretty cool and useful. So the product would have been really cool and useful, if it hadn't had one deal-breaker issue:As some of the other reviewers pointed out, this light draws power even when it's not on. I presume this is because it needs to keep the RF sensor active in the light to be able to pick up any "ON" signal from the remote switch. And it goes thru batteries in an astonishing rate in this state.I installed this in a small walk-in closet we rarely use, and IIRC, it went thru 6 fresh AA batteries in a matter of several months. Even worse, there doesn't seem to be any smarts in the light to detect if the batteries are running low and turn itself off completely, so it tries to draw current from empty batteries, which casues the batteries to leak! The last time I opened it up to replace the batteries, I found 4 of the 6 batteries leaked! This light can work fine if it's used relatively often. But for a seldom used location, I don't think this is a viable option. You are better off having a light with a hard on-off switch. The light also has a hard on-off switch on it, but it defeats the purpose of the remote switch, and you can't install it, say, on the ceiling where you can't reach without standing on something.

EATS batteries if left on! On indicater or timer built in would be imnprovement!
Works pretty good but if you close a door and have left the light on it will kill the 6 - AA Batteries in each unit. I have 3 of these lights-in one cabinet, and I have done this SEVERAL times! That's "18" batteries I have to replace every time i've done this. Its EASY to forget to turn it off when yiu close the door! I'd been better to hard-wire LED lights. Or find one like this that has a "on" indicator that you can see when the cabinet door is shut. OR maybe even a "timer" switch added to this unit would have been a good design feature. Oh well....too late now!

Poca luz
Se ve de buena calidad el producto pero emite muy poca luz para mí gusto. Lo recomiendo solo para lugares muy oscuros y dónde se requiera poca luz.

10/10 would buy again
I was skeptical about the low price and all the batteries I had to purchase. I installed them in my parents kitchen after a reno; they work, are bright and after 3 months, seem to have a good battery life

aceptable, pero buena
bastante buena pero tiene unos detallitos que no se dijieron, la luz es algo amarilla o mas bien color calido a unos 80 cm, y usa 6 baterias AA cada una. parece que solo las usare en la noche.
