It went on as easily as a thing like that does. It fit like the original. The holes in the flange even almost lined up.

This was exactly what I needed and exactly what it said it was except for the garnishing… It did not come with any garnishing… Needless to say my other one was 10 years old and definitely needed replaced as the motor had blown because I left the window open and it monsoon twice… and it sure did let in a lot of cold… it snows where I live. This one fixed everything as I have my fan back in my toilet closet back and it’s nice and quiet and I don’t know if I sealed it better or if it was just that the old dome plastic was so old and brittle but my bathroom is not freezing cold anymore… I don’t know what happened with the garnishing maybe it was a mistake? But the RV place was open so I ran up there and got some so it all worked out. But the price was DEFINITELY worth the inconvenience as the RV place tried selling me The same exact unit for $308 so… I think I made out in the whole thing!!! Couldn’t be happier:)

Just make sure you buy the tape and chalking. If you are going to do it do it right. Save your screws there was not enough in the bag they sent me.

For starters they were under packed for as cheaply built as they are. Next, the plastic ring was very thin and flimsy and the tabs that hold it in place on the mounting ring needs to be either bigger, thicker or a higher quality of plastic. I am currently restoring a 1972 Airstream Overlander for a client so installation wasn't a problem for me but, having to treat it like a porcelain doll sucked so, I won't probably ever use them again unless that's all the budget will allow.

This was easy to install but make sure you measure the rv opening to ensure you get the right size fan.
