These throwing knives are well made, and should last a long time.

Great little throwing knife set, The knives themselves are balanced well, solid and have a very sharp factory edge. The finish is decent but the metal is a little soft. The problem is that the knife material is a little soft and the point of the knives are very easy to bend. They come with tip protectors on them and I would suggest keeping those. The sheath is the biggest problem with this set as it has a slot for each knife but they should be staggered more as it would make for faster drawing of them. The other thing about the sheath is that the end point of it has no knife tip stop so the knife tip comes sticking out the end of it making it impossible to actually use. No matter how I rearrange them or use the strap to hold them a different way one of the knives tip comes sticking out the end. Throwing them is easy and their flight is predictable and stable. However these are not what I would carry but are great for fun or practice.

Tested these today in the nice weather on some soft tree trunk pieces. I've never used anything else like this before so watched a couple youtube videos which were not much help. Worked at throwing them for about 30-60 minutes and had a lot of failures but started getting more and more successful throws as the time went on...clearly a practice makes perfect thing. Was impressed with the durability of these...being new i missed my target numerous times and only the tip of one got a tiny bit dinged up which im sure i can file right out. I like the 3 pocket holder as well. Overall these are pretty neat Sustainability and climate change considerations: other than the holder, the items themselves are all metal and hence 100 percent recyclable, very green compared to most products.
