OpenLive 12Pcs 5ML Quick Dry Nail Polish Set With 2Pcs Base and Top Coat

I am the type of person that refuses to pay alot to get my nails done. I enjoy doing a regular manicure myself. I usually buy my nail polish at the $1 store. I mean, no matter how much you pay, the polish starts peeling within a week. I even have my rubber gloves, like Nana told me, for dish washing to protect my nails... which I hardly ever remember to put on! Anyway, I thought I'd give this inexpensive set of polish a try. I am not going to lie, when I saw the size of the bottles, I was disappointed. They are small. However, I decided to give the polish a try, and WOW am I suprised! The colors in the set will work throughout the 4 seasons. I live in New Jersey, USA, so that is a big plus. The polish goes on great and you only need 2 coats. It's adhesivness to the base coat is noticeable. The polish itself is consistent, and goes on without streaking like some cheap $1 store polishes do. I did 2 nails red, 1 white, and 2 blue for Memorial Day and all colors needed only 2 coats. I did use the base coat and top coat polish. 1 coat each. My nails came out great. They dried so fast, I didn't get a chance to mess up at least 1 nail. Which I usually do with other polishes that do not dry fast enough. This brand of nail polish is inexpensive, but IMO it goes on better than OPI and Essie, which cost more than the entire set for 1 bottle. Totally worth a try for the $$$. *Update... after a few days the polish started to chip. 2 coats of top coat is a must. 🙂

I am a big fan of these kinds of shades, so I lived this set from the moment I saw it. It includes a beautiful selection of neutral, pink, brown, and burgundy color that are easy to wear for any occasion. It also comes with a base coat, making it a complete set. The polishes have a nice consistency, apply evenly, and with two coats the color looks rich, glossy, and beautiful. I also liked that they dry fairly quickly, making at-home manicures much more convenient. This is a set I'll keep reaching for because it includes many of my favorite shades, and there's always a color that matches my style.

*photos are continuously updated* Quality of the color polish is pretty decent, but top coat stole the show for me. Coverage and application were pretty good (even before I added nail polish thinner). I have no idea what the dry time is like, cause I simply wait an unholy amount while I blow air on them before going in with the next coat. I’m definitely looking forward to trying the other colors though. For the specifics of my nails: - nail aid “keratin 3 day growth” as base coat (not from this brand, but maybe it’ll help someone who wants stronger nails cause it’s helped me) - 2 coats of the polish. (I did add in around 3 drops of nail polish thinner to the container cause I prefer super thin polish since it goes on smoother and easier for me). - 1 coat of the provided top coat (surprisingly very shiny, the photo doesn’t do it justice) **Things I did for the first time that were a game changer for using regular nail polish in general: - I had a tiny nail brush that I used to clean up the sides and cuticles with acetone. - I used my hair dryer on the cool setting to dry my nails for at LEAST 5 minutes between each coat. (This was likely excessive, but I would have gone feral if I smudged any nails like I have so many times before). - I tend to go from the middle of the nail with a lot of polish on the brush to moving up the nail towards the cuticles (so I don’t flood the cuticles), and just removed excess from the brush if it’s about to go downhill (literally). I find this better than having too little polish and trying to spread it more or going back for more polish (gets messy and less smooth for me). Other notes: You may notice that the skin around my fingers is pinkish/raw looking. This is cause I’m actually a huge nail picker. I grew up biting my nails pretty bad and eventually transitioned to manhandling them with their brethren. This particular semester, I was picking at the sides of my fingers pretty bad (the worse I’ve done on my thumbs specifically), and it did not help that I’m more tan than usual too. I picked the melanin straight from my fingers😫. But anyways, my nails look great (at least I think they do), and they’re only gonna look better as everything heals, grows, and strengthens. Hang in there fellow nail pickers, it gets worse before it gets better. I truly mean that cause I tend to pick at my nails when there’s stuff to pick at (ie. jagged edges, dry spots, long cuticles, unevenness, etc.). But, as you catch and force yourself to stop, it’ll eventually heal and the urge to pick will go away cause there’s nothing to pick at! My fingers have always been a subject of stress and shame for me cause they’d be bloody, disfigured, and very clearly picked at. Now, I don’t stress about them at all, and actually forget about them until someone gives a compliment! I’m happy that nail polish in general is helping me do better for myself. Keep the nailies hydrated and happy, I’m rooting for you! ❤️

Ooh, lawd. It chips like no one's business. But I'm fine with that bc I only wear polish on rare occasions, and I don't need it to last more than a single night. That's all you'll get out of this stuff, about 12 hours. Put this on AFTER your shower bc handwashing is absolutely going to compromise it the rest of the evening. This is terrible if you're using this for vacation or for anything longer than a day. It's great for that one opera you're going to. It's great if you're goth or punk or emo and don't care, or even welcome, the chipped look. Yes, I used the base coat and top coat w two paint coats. I've used OPI, and it lasts a couple weeks even with how careless I am about my nails. This ain't OPI. Think 1980s Wet n Wild quality of polish. Back then, it was $0.59 a bottle. Yep, that's the quality you're getting here. But you knew that when you clicked on the item and saw $9.99. Each bottle will get you about six coats by my estimation. They are tiny tiny bottles. Like, 1980s Barbie nail set tiny. But two coats actually gets you decent, saturated color. The colors are actually nice, too. It's quite the versatile set. Still, it's just cheap junk. It would definitely appease the young, aspiring nail tech or beauty influencer in your life. In fact, it kinda reminds me of the trash sets I got as a kid ages ago. Your teenager will absolutely throw this back at you, though. Don't try it...unless, as I said earlier, they're into the chipped look.

I ordered this product late August and love the colors. I’m not upset about the bottle size. It works great on toes but on my hands, I can’t get it to last more than a day. Sadly I work with many chemicals cleaning daily. It peels and chips quickly.

Beautiful colors and incredible quality for the price! I bought this 12-piece OpenLive nail polish set on June 22nd and it exceeded my expectations. The variety of shades is gorgeous: from super elegant nudes for everyday wear to burgundy, wine red, and hot pink perfect for evening. I loved that it includes a base and top coat. The pigmentation is excellent; with two coats, the color is even and streak-free, and the best part is that it dries super fast. The brush applies the polish very well, and the bottles contain a good amount. For the price, having 12 colors plus a base and top coat is a steal. I'm already looking at the other sets from the brand because I'm so impressed with this one.

This set is a must have. This is for the girlie's who are tired of gel polish. The application finish looks identical to gel polish. It's a must have and save s you money.

I liked these. They dry quick and doesn’t smell strong. I like that the size is small. But the Colors are too similar. And they are not matt (as shown in the product picture!) top coat and base coat is also good, dries fast and easy to apply. I wish they were in larger size though!

It was very thick and the qualities reasonable and the colours are very pretty. I think it’s worth it if you want to try first, so you should buy that one so you don’t need to buy anything else if you just want a nail polish set like a dry one not the gel nails one so I think it’s definitely a good one

Love this nail polish. The best basecoat I ever tried. I like all the different colour's. Just the right size. I always end up throwing half the bottles away on larger more expensive bottles, because they get clumpy.

Ok set, ok colour, slow drying speed. Would have liked to have 2 bottles each of base and top coat because you will 100% run out long before you use them all.

I really like the colors, it’s little bit lighter than the picture but when you apply 2 coats then may be it will look same but I applied one and this look so glossy and cute , I love all the colors and finish. I don’t know how long it will stay but after few days I’ll write it down again about how long is stability
