It is removable from a wall that is painted but it does leave marks after being in place for a while. As for a window I’d say TRY one of the little ones to check if it will do what you’re looking for. Sounds like a super cute idea 🤗

Yes it is, not very thick, but it is. It has held up nicely and we have even relocated it to a different wall and the quality remains.
