BSN Medical 20184 Tensoplast Elastic Athletic Tape, Provides Medium Support or Compression with High Adhesive Properties, Water Repellent and Air Permeable, Tan, 2" x 5 yard, Roll

This tape is very good quality. I did have to return it because it was way to sticky and strong for taping my toes together due to an injury. I was using it for my planter plate tear. I tried this tape. It actually worked well. The only problem was removing the tape. It nearly pulled a layer of skin along with my two toes.

I use this to wrap my foot with a felt metatarsal pad for hallux rigidus. It's what my podiatrist used, and I couldn’t find anything pre-made that worked as well. It's a stretchy medical tape, pretty straightforward. For my use, I wrap my foot once with sticky side out and cut it. Then J take a felt metatarsal pad (purchased seperately) and stick it to the correct spot on the bottom of the tape. I take the tape sticky-inwards and wrap around my foot again, over the tape and felt pad, lining up with the first layer. Cut off. Now I have a nice tight but stretchy loop with a pad on bottom, that I can pull off and on over my foot whenever I need to. eventually it will get dirty and I make a new one. But it's more convenient than using a new felt pad every time I walk.

A podiatrist friend recommended this product for my foot. It really help me heal and was so much better that any sports tape I have tried.

Its a decent wrap but every night it comes off cause it doesn’t stay sticky. When I put a sock over it to try and keep it on during day it still seems to peel on edges. I hate having to buy tape but I need it for my planterflacitis. I wish it was more sticky and stayed on better so I didn’t have to wear socks over the tape. I have even applied alcohol to my feet to make sure no oil or moisture and still doesn’t stick.

My kiddo has really high arches and marching band shoes are pretty awful for support. After a full day of marching caused issues, the podiatrist used this tape to help + inserts. This tape is pretty much the same so I can tape her foot up before a big marching day and it helps a lot.

tape sticks and does not come off during the day

I have used the product for several reasons since receiving it. I even put it over a band aid at my heel where my shoe would easily remove the band aid. Originally, I purchased it to make a sleeve for my metatarsal pad under my foot. My orthopedic surgeon made 3 of them for me and used this...works great. It is two layers: the first is sticky side out, place pad on underside of foot, then wrap sticky side under around the whole thing, so it becomes a stable sleeve that is off and on reusable.

All good but a word to the supplier to be more careful with sizes. Ordered 3” and received 2”…. The one inch makes a difference in how I use this. Now can’t use it for my weekend.
