Great price, better than Waterpik!
I got this unit to replace my Waterpik which has recently started leaking. I wanted to find a unit that is universal voltage since I travel quite often and wanted something that would work globally without having to resort to a voltage converter or a portable unit (which generally has a much weaker pressure due to it operating on batteries). Here's my overall take on this product:a) The tank on this unit is straight, rather than curved on the sides like many other water flosser designs. This makes it smaller even though the tank holds the same volume of water (600mL). The bottom base is also effectively smaller and smooth, which makes it quite easy to clean.b) Although not specifically outlined in the seller's description, the unit is compatible with Waterpik based tips. That means you can use tips from Waterpik or aftermarket tips that are designed for the Waterpik device. The device does come with 3 standard tips by itself so you may not need an additional tip, although this compatibility makes it much easier to get replacements.c) This unit is universal voltage, accepting voltage from 100-240 VAC AC. This is unlike the official Waterpik US units that only accept 120V AC. Waterpik also makes European units that are 220-240V AC compatible, although they are not backward compatible with 120V AC. The only desktop unit that Waterpik makes that is universal voltage is the "kids/traveler edition", but the pressure on these units are way too weak relative to the regular desktop unit.d) The number of tips provided is quite generous and it gets difficult to fit them inside the box if you do not store one on the tail end of the flosser itself.e) Unlike the Waterpik which has no idle power draw, this unit draws about 0.28W when idle. This is most likely due to the switching power supply that is connected to the device which allows universal voltage compatibility. This is about the same amount of power that is drawn from a Level V power efficient laptop power supply when it is idle.f) This device is significantly quieter than the Waterpik, rating at 61.6 dB, whereas the Waterpik is rating at 66.1 dB (technically speaking, this is about 60% of the noise level the Waterpik makes with my unscientific test).g) Although this power draws some ghost power, its active power is quite low, drawing 11.66W at full power (level 10). Comparatively, the Waterpik draws 33.44W on its max level. There is a newer Waterpik model that uses a newer motor that draws a bit less power at about 19W on full power. Despite its low power, the stream seems focused and powerful versus my older Waterpik which has a dull and weak stream (probably due to the leak - which seems like a common issue with Waterpiks). The newer Waterpik I have has a very comparable stream compared to this unit.h) Unlike Waterpik units that use a stop trigger button, this unit does not leak water when the flosser end is allowed to dangle below the flosser unit (when the switch is set to Off). I also did not have any problems with leaking when the unit is turned off, unlike some other cheaper made units from China.i) One thing I really liked about this unit is that it uses mini suction cups for anchoring onto its surface rather than the typical rubber feet. I actually had to add an anti-slip mat under my Waterpik to stop it from moving when pulling on the elastic tubing because the outlet is a bit far away from the sink. The suction cup was quite strong and I did not have issues with the device moving when I was trying to floss.j) This flosser uses a "twist-on" design which means you have to twist the knob to the desired setting every time you turn the unit on. It is great if you share this unit with family members who want different settings each time they turn the unit on (versus the Waterpik which has a separate water pressure and power button and remembers the last pressure setting).Being only at half price as the Waterpik, I would say that this is definitely a good buy. I am hopeful that this would save me money over time since I have had to keep replacing the water hose on my Waterpik on numerous occasions due to leaks. I will update this review to reflect any issues I have with this unit when it comes that time.

Good pressure, not too loud, and easy to clean.
Water dental irrigators are simply small water pumps combined with a water reservoir and extension tubing that connects to hard plastic irrigation tools. These shoot a high pressure stream of water between your teeth and in gum pockets surrounding your teeth. They are wonderful for those with periodontal disease, who wear braces, or for those with tight spaces behind their molars that they can't reach with a toothbrush or floss. This particular unit has a wide variety of irrigators that are easily changed out, a power control on the irrigator extension as well as a pressure control on the main body of the unit, and a sufficiently sized reservoir to complete your cleaning task. The pump noise is apparent but minimal and the overall operation of the unit is as expected. The flexible tubing leading to the irrigator feels plastic and will likely crack with time after a few years - silicone tubing would be a nice upgrade - but otherwise the entire unit is very reasonably priced and works just like your dentist and periodontist would want. Cleaning is straightforward by running a vinegar solution through every few weeks.

Perfect dental irrigator for great oral hygiene
I used my Homgeek irrigator with a splash of mouthwash. It was very easy peasy to use right out of the box. It comes with a variety of tips including two that will get between the tightest spaces. If you have bridgework in your mouth, the irrgator will clean the spaces between the bridge and your gums.
