Wood Carving Tools 12 in 1 Wood Chisels Set with Professional Case and Sharpener for Beginners

i want to start by saying i'm reviewing these based on my experience with them carving WOOD for printmaking, if you want these for carving something softer like soap, candles, or linoleum(soft alternative to wood for printmaking), then these will probably be perfect for long term usethis is a great set for beginners, as it comes with all the tools and a sharpener its good for learning what tools you want to use and how to sharpen them.but as you might expect based on the price, they're not particularly high quality. while they sharpen well, they don't hold their edge for long when using them with wood.if you're looking at getting into carving of some kind but don't know what to get, or don't want to spend too much at the start, then this is a great starting place.but if you stick with the whole carving thing it wont be long before you're looking at buying higher quality knives

Good beginner set, they do come very blunt but a sharpening stone is included and they do sharpen well , wont work well on any hard woods as they are made from very soft metal ,but as a first set they are ideal for people new to wood carving

First time at using these tools and they are so easy to get used to, just glide through the wood and you don’t have to use too much pressure, would definitely recommend if you’re a beginner or even more advanced, perfect and compact to pack away and take anywhere. Very good value and would definitely recommend!

Japanese style chisels bought as a present for my son who loves them . A nice size to carry round and very sharp . Comes complete with sharpening stone
