Quite flimsy

LOVE these! So lightweight, really works in toning down the harshness of a screen and they are a really nice fit on the face. I’d say they were a little oversized but that’s what I like, I’m not a fan of small glasses.

Great. Can't fault them! I wear these in the evening when reading or using my laptop just to protect my eyes. They're comfortable to wear. They do look a bit funny as they sit out further than normal glasses but my other blue light ones do as well so I am wondering if that's how they're meant to be. Overall, they're ok.

Stunning and sturdy. Lovely glasses. My eyes feel less strained when I'm using them. Also style is perfect for most faces. Good size and comfy. Would recommend given how reasonably priced they are.

They fit comfortably and look nice. They come with a mini blue light and reactive peice of card to try out the blue light blocking ( it darkens the card when u shine it on it , but when the glasses r between the light and card the card doesn't darken) And they come in a beautiful suede like glasses case

i realise these are cheap, but omg ive been wearing them for less than a week and they already have scratches i dont even know where from?? very bad quality

These glasses are sold to reduce eye strain and potential damage from blue light, and help you sleep better - especially if you spend hours looking at your computer, tablet, or phone screen in the evening. They do this by selectively blocking blue light and reducing glare - without distorting the colour balance. There is some research to support these claims about the effects of blue light, but it is still debatable, so let's see for ourselves... YOU GET * A nice orangey brown hard case * The Blue Light Blocking Glasses * A test card * A test light Yep, there's a science demonstration in the box. SCIENCE BIT? Jumping the gun slightly, when you put the glasses on, you won't notice much (if any) difference. This is a good thing, because you don't want all the colours to change like some bad 3D movie from the 50s, but a bad thing because you're left wondering, are they working? So there's a simple technology demo in the box. Instructions are printed on the reverse of the test card, but they are somewhat garbled. I'll translate: 1: Put the test card on a table, with the BLUE LIGHT TEST AREA (white and blue face) upwards 2: Point the little blue light torch at the test area (white rectangle) from a few inches away and press its button for 3 seconds 3: This will "burn" a purple mark onto the area you've pointed it at 4: Wait for the mark to fade - takes a minute or two 5: Repeat step 2 but shine the light through the glasses onto the test area 6: No purple mark! It works. So the glasses definitely filter out something that the test torch produces - they're doing something - but is that going to help you? A more direct demonstration of filtering the light from your screen would be more helpful. On reflection, for these glasses to remove blue light without affecting colour balance, they must be removing "invisible" blue light i.e. blue light that's close to ultra-violet. Ultra-violet light is pretty bad for your eyes and skin, that's why we wear sunglasses and suncream on sunny days. Your screens should not produce significant amounts of it - is that what that test light produces to leave the "burn mark"? USING So I've tried these glasses for several days (evenings) tapping away at my Windows PC with the Night Light setting turned off. Here's my view: * Comfortable to wear (good) * I can't wear my reading glasses at the same time (bad) * No obvious effect on colour balance (good) * A slight reduction in clarity (bad) * No obvious reduction in glare (bad) * No reduction in eyestrain and headaches (bad) * No improvement in sleep patterns (bad) Darn, they haven't helped me sleep better or reduced my eye problems or headaches. BEST BITS + Comfortable, fairly attractive glasses - I don't feel awkward wearing them + Seem well-made, with metal hinges, arms and frame - they should last + Fun technology demo WORST BITS - They reduce screen clarity slightly - They can't be worn with spectacles - I have not noticed any reduction in glare, tiredness or eyestrain - I have not noticed any improvement in my sleep patterns My Android smartphone has an Eye Comfort Shield setting that reduces blue levels as you approach bedtime (making colours noticeably warmer) - and it's free. My Windows PCs has a Night Light setting that reduces blue levels according to a schedule you set (making colours noticeably warmer) - and it's free too. CONCLUSION If you are particularly sensitive to blue light levels these glasses might help, but you should try your device's display settings first. They haven't helped me, sadly - I guess I'm not especially sensitive to blue light, just old. Three stars
