Great looks, great protection.
I'm a professional custom furniture maker and have used Loba since about 2012. It provides excellent protection and looks great on any hardwood.

Do not apply over sanding sealer
It sanding sealer has ever been applied to wood this oil will not penetrate as advertised and has refused to dry completely. There was no warning prior to sale or on the product label. It made a terrible mess f a beautiful new douglas fir floor.

Strongly recommend for pets and kids
8 years ago we had our poly white oak floors that were deeply gouged from the dogs running redone with Ioba impact. The floors still look great, no nail marks, so easy to maintain (no soap). We just removed the carpeting in the basement and installed white oak and again chose loba impact. It does have an odor initially but does not cause me breathing difficulty like traditional polyurethane offgassing. We could not be happier with our Ioba floors.

It’s Gorgeous and durable
Tom , quoted above, gave this one star because it couldn’t be used over sanding sealer and wouldn’t dry. And that Loba didn’t say not to. What the instructions do say is to apply it to bare wood after properly sanding. When you follow the directions,it’s a perfect natural zero voc product that has a velvety , cashmere-ish silliness feel that os tough to describe without speaking Shakespearean English or Italian.

Do not recommend
Flooring installer told us this product was non-toxic/low VOC. It smells awful and I am really unhappy with the finish. It is not a good choice for homes with kids and pets. Scratches easily and terrible in kitchens with water that drops often. It’s much higher maintenance than what we had before.

Poor reviews were by people who didn't know what they were doing.
Loba Impact Oil in the hands of professionals is about the best product of its type (compared to Pallman, Rubio, etc.)The poor reviews were from people who didn't do their homework to understanding the scope of the product.Don't be afraid to use Loba Impact Oil when you understand it's nature.
