KORGCM-300-BK Improved Design Contact Microphone for Clip-Type Tuners - Black

Clamps on to unusual things and allows for the recording of the strangest of sounds. I think it’s supposed to be used for recording saxophones. I have used it mostly to record vibration based sound effects. I have flung it at objects to record impacts. It’s really durable and really affordable. I don’t know if it sounds good for recording sax, it sounds great crashing into pillows and being dragged along towels.

Used for tuning acoustic guitar and lowD whistle with KORG OT120.Clip contact microphone will clip on headstock or just clip on low D (metal) whistle but not large enough for wooden flute or shakuhachi without making an adaptor. Works well with Korg tuner unit and allows accurate noise free tuning in noisy environment.

Works fine but some interference from the TM60's built in mic. I will use this for my accoustic guitar but continue using a 1 meter patch cable with my electric's and electric accoustic's because I get a much cleaner signal.

It works well with my 20 year old tuning device!I can now tune my instrument even with background noise.

Bought two - one for wife's clarinet and one for acoustic ukulele. Work well and certainly sound better than other clip-ons I've bought.

Great idea for a simple add on to (for me an acoustic guitar) musical instrument. On the guitar the clip and cable gets in the way a little and you have to have a good amp to hear the guitar on.

I have recently started playing the sax and without spending too much money this product meets my needs at a fair price. I recommend it to anyone like me who approaches the saxophone for the first time.
