Is this knife made in the USA?

Kershaw is owned by Kai which is a Japanese blade company but from their web site ( Kershaw’s quality products are made in our 55,000 sq. ft. facility in Tualatin, Oregon (just south of Portland)). Just google it.

Is it speedsafe assisted opening

Per Kershaw's literature, "There is no mechanical assist, such as SpeedSafe, used to open the folding knife. It opens the classic, old-school way."

“The sub-frame lock design provides secure blade lock up while reducing weight for ease of carry. “ This is a quote from the Blade HQ description of the knife. The lock up is solid, yet easy to release for one handed closing. Excellent lightweight EDC knife. If by lock, you are referring to a “safety” like the Kershaw Leek or Scallion, the the answer is no.

How long is opened in inches

Hello, when I purchased this Kershaw as I have given it away as a gift already, I believe it was right around 3.25 inches. FYI it is a very hard blade to open, the flip out mechanism is very stiff and would not loosen up or get easier even after oiling the mechanism. You may want to check out some of the auto knives at blade op’s.com or blade HQ as you will find much nicer and more functional knives through these sellers. Good luck
