These Thompson Tees really work!
The underarm area that absorbs sweat is big. The tee is super comfortable and easy to wash and dry. I get hot easily and this does not make me feel too hot, even wearing it under a sweater. It is stretchy and easy to throw on. It is low enough in the neck so it doesn't show through other tops. The tee keeps my sweaters fresh so I don't have to wash them (and ruin them!). I am super happy with this purchase. Another brand I tried with 3/4 length sleeves had a tiny under arm sweat area and made me too hot!

They work fabulously
These absolutely work to retain wetness and odor away from your outer shirt.

It works! But I wish there was a cropped
Update: wore it under a white shirt while working out and no visible stains! —- I’ve always sweated profusely. The sweater that I’m wearing in the picture would always have dark red sweat marks by the end of the day when I wore it so I rarely wore it or only wore it when I knew I wasn’t going to move around or be in a hot place. Cue the miracle shirt. The pits are a swishy padded material. The shirt itself I was surprisingly very soft. If not for the apparent padding of the armpit, I would wear this by itself. Nice and fitting. Most importantly, I wore it under my turtleneck from 9am-6pm and it kept the turtleneck dry. I was at a conference all day filled with people. I wore my winter coat for a good bit and worked up a sweat toward the beginning of the conference. I was very paranoid and kept checking the state of the shirt in the bathroom. No sweat stains. I think $40 is a bit too much but it functions like it’s supposed to, which is more than I can say for the $20 off brand cropped shirt sets

Works great and so comfy- small quality control issues
I took a star off because of quality control. This is my second t shirt. I was so happy with my first one, I ordered another one in another color right away. They work really well, and are ridiculously soft. They look great, and are so comfortable. I had no quality issues with the first shirt at all. This one, however, came with a hole in the seam. You can see in the pictures, that section just didn’t get caught into the stitching. For $33, I’m disappointed. That’s a lot to pay for a shirt, to have it arrive with a hole in it.

Pricey but OK
Works well in preventing sweat stains on your tops. I suffer from HH and can wear basically anything without worrying about patches. I however don't really like the fact that the sweat accumulates in your underarms and makes you feel clammy all day. Sometimes I just prefer to wear black and not go through this. Also, after a few times using it (even if I wash after every use), because of the bacterias coming from sweat, it starts to smell funny. Having worn my TTs enough to know if they are gonna last long with this funny smell. These are way too expensive to be worn only a few times, so hopefully that won't be the case. Finally, I don't really know how this works but despite the fact that you can't see the sweat stains on the outer fabric, the region gets so humid with the accumulation of sweat (if you have HH) that it is kind of wet nonetheless. I once wore a blazer with a silk lining on top of my button-up shirt (on top of the TT), and the silk was mildly wet even though the cotton button-up wasn't. So I guess it's not 100% effective. Overall, helps, but I find it uncomfortable and am waiting to see if they get smelly over time. If that is the case, this will be a deal-breaker.

This Shirt Gave Me My Wardrobe Back!
In the last few years I have become a sweater... I sweat when I'm hot - I sweat when I'm cold, when I'm nervous, when I'm anxious - it. never. stops. By the time I drive to work in the morning, I have already sweated through my clothing. It's been a nightmare. I have had to completely abandon most of my closet and buy lose, flowy shirts with low arm seams - or put on my "granny shawl" at work to hid the stains. I have a big meeting at work where I will be presenting to a large group - I bought this shirt in the hopes it will save me from complete embarrassment because I know I will be a solid puddle that day. I decided to test it out before the big day next week. I got up yesterday and showered as always. I skipped putting on my usual antiperspirants - (hey, I was alone, and if you're gonna test it, I say, "give it a challenge!") I put on the shirt and continued my day at home of cleaning, some light yard work (June in the South), and running up and down stairs all day. First Impressions: The shirt is soft was other reviews mention. I got a size Small and it fits me well. Not too tight, but hugs me where it should. I like the size of the underarm pads, I felt "covered". The pads do make a noise when you move your arms, (like fabric moving against fabric), but its a small thing to me. I did sweat! I could feel the pads doing their job. At one point in the day they felt very damp (not soggy, wet - just damp). Not the greatest feeling in the world, but when I sat down again and tried to relax after about 30mins or so I could feel them drying out again. You do feel the pads. Some reviews mention its like having a maxi pad under your arm. I wouldn't go that far. For me, I like that I can feel the pad as it makes me feel assured that the barrier is there. But its not bulky and it does not restrict movement at all. I am very pleased so far! I kept the shirt on all day and not once did I sweat through the pads. I am so excited at the possibility of having my entire closet to choose from again!

Absorbs well. Easy to wash and maintain. Perfect solution when wearing non-cotton tops.

I know that these are made in the States and I'm wondering if they're made where there's a lot of tall women. The shirt is so long. Even the v-neck area is super long - half of my boobs come out. The pads under the arms are also really crinkly. It was enough for me to return it.

Can’t even wear it. Papery rustling when your arms move and not comfortable. Sadly I missed the window to return. Wish I just tried a numi instead!

Does not work for me. It depends on how much you sweat, but I leaked
