Svago ZGR Plus Dual Power Zero Gravity Recliner - Midnight Black

I’ve struggled with chronic back pain for years. I have been worn out two lawn-chair type zero gravity chairs, but it was now time to graduate to a more upgraded comfortable chair!! This chair exceeded my expectations! The angle, height and range of motion is impressive. Love the heat and vibration modes!!

Arrived two days early- Set up easy - More comfortable than I expected (glad I didn't pre-buy an extra cushion. (I apparently have the perfect amount for this chair). It actually gets the legs higher than the zero g position, if so desired.... I have been looking for this for 20+ years, and am thankful I had the ability to get this during the pandemic. In addition to relaxing in it I have been working from it- using a laptop Velcroed and bungy corded to a tilting adjustable over bed tray. With this zero g workstation for under $2300 I have been able to do full time telemedicine without my ankles swelling or my back hurting. The first night after being legs over head all day, not surprisingly, my head felt congested. I could go for less height, and once briefly a twinge of random pain led me to be cautious and hit "off" twice and it immediately begins sitting upright. I actually like the 3 vibrating zones- you cannot choose the program nor operate them independently or manually on this model, certainly a simple massage, but they are considerably stronger than most vibrating furniture I've tried. I find myself using it a couple of times daily. In summary, I'm very glad I purchased this. Providing it continues to work flawlessly for at least a few years it will have been well worth it. It is a great workstation if used in addition to the tilting adjustable table (to be reviewed separately) and a low adjustable polyethylene folding table. (Photo to follow)

I bought this for my wife prior to hip surgery, as the standard recliners have too sharp a bend at the hip. It's now her favorite thing ever, even before surgery. It's quiet in operation, and the open design is safer for pets & makes it look less bulky. She especially loves the heater, and the cat does too. :-)

I was looking for a recliner that would elevate my leg and be easy to get in and out of after knee replacement surgery. The 20" seat height is on the tall side making it relatively easy to stand up without assistance. This recliner does not rock and has firm arms providing a stable supportive frame to sit down into and stand up from. The leg elevation height is the highest I could find, combined with the vibration massage and heat, it was a big help dealing with post-op swelling. Like almost any other recliner, I needed an addition pillow under my foot to get my leg completely straight per PT's orders. The leg elevation height is unbeatable. The endless adjustability options for back and feet allow you to find your sweet spot for comfort, then you can save two different ones. I particularly like the automatic return to the upright position by pushing the power button. This has quickly become my favorite chair ever. I also like that it has a modern look. It does not look like an old person post-op recliner.

Wonderful comfortable chair. We did not have to assemble very much at all. Arrived in one big box. And it is DIVINE. Tried it out and then husband tried it out and then after lunch did the massage and heat feature and promptly fell asleep. Knew instantly the first time I sat in it that it would relax my back. No stress in the lower back when in the reclining position. HEAVENLY! Have been getting massages every 2 weeks to help with the back and stress, but I am thinking that with this chair might give up the massages. The chair is that good. Highly recommend to all. Update 01.08.2020 Have had trouble falling asleep the last few years. Found that if I go lie in the chair about 30 minutes before going to bed, put it in the zero gravity mode, turn on the massage and heat and relax and read that when I go to bed I can fall asleep with 10 to 15 minutes. Heaven. Also when wake up in the night to use the facilities am able to go right back to sleep. Today I went for my massage. The lady could not believe how relaxed my back felt. Usually at least half of the massage is spent getting kinks / knots out of my back. Not this time. Not one kink or knot at all. Lovely. Told her all about THE CHAIR and she plans to recommend to all her clients. The masseuse thought I had been doing nothing during the holidays since no back pain. Told her it was actually the opposite - had been doing more. Amazing what a good night's sleep and feeling relaxed will do.

My 5’11” husband loves it. I am barely 5” tall. It is too long for me. Also, it doesn’t actually recline, it tilts. The seat to back angle stays at 90 degrees. Regardless of the position. A problem for me as I have arthritis. My hips are not comfortable staying at the same angle for any length of time. We decided to keep the chair for my husband, as he finds it very comfortable.

The recliner is not as described in the descriptions. The adjustments are limited and the padding is quite thin, certainly not comfortable... not Zero-Gravity! For the return after just one try-out, I packed the item exactly as received and I used the shipping label they provided. And still they withheld appox. $600,- (30%) for shipping and restocking!!! If I had known that, I would have sold it by myself. That is NOT a 30-Day Money Back Guarantee!!! Amazon Customer service was unable to help, but was very responsive. It would be 0 stars.

I love the chair. Everything went well. It was easy to put together. there was only one problem and this is why I gave it a one. The remote control stopped working after 2 days and I was stuck in the zero gravity position. Not pleasant trying to get out of that with a bad back. So I had called them they're going to work on getting it to work again. I will give a review again when everything is working like it should. Update I am very dissappointed that I bought this chair. Still doesnt work and the Cozzia company who distributes these chairs tells me that it will take another week for the parts to reach their warehouse in California. It took 2 weeks to receive the parts and the technician came and replaced. It still didn’t work. So now I have to wait for the transformer to come in from California and more time. By the time the chair is fixed I may not need it. I live in Florida so that means more time to wait. In the meantime I have no choice. I want to return the chair but it is too big for me or my hubby to do this. There is no mechanism to manuelly bring this chair to a normal position so it is sitting in my living in the Zero gravity position and I cant climb into it. I will never buy something of this magnitude through Amazon ever again. 2/1/2019 The transformer came and it turned on. Only to go from zero gravity to the normal position. But it only moved an inch back and forth. I called the company again and the customer service representative was very nice. I have to wait another week for a manager to call me. This is unbelievable. Let's see if I can get my money back. 2/13/2019 Update- I spoke to customer service again and they sent out a new chair on 2/11 which is going to the repairman and he will deliver to my house. He will also take the chair that doesn’t work. 2/22/2019 The chair came with the repair man and put it together and took the one that wasn’t working. 3/3/2019 still working right. The heating element works nicely. The massage is really more like vibrations and I don’t particularly care for it. But the rest is fine. So for now I will rated higher. The chair is very nice looking.
