Very tasty
It took a little while to start working but I have generated two harvest so far. So tasty when fryed with some olive oil and soy sauce. I see the start of a third harvest growing but it does take awhile after harvesting to see new growth.

Nothing grew……(REVIEW UPDATED!!)
Review Update below original review: So I received my kit on October 24 and read the instructions and started it the same day. So far I’ve done everything that it said to do and absolutely nothing has happened and today is November 5th. I’m so disappoint because I was so excited to grow my own mushrooms. I haven’t given up yet and will continue to do what I’ve been doing but so far I’m very disappointed 😞 Ok so after weeks of spraying the thing for weeks and nothing happening I took it upon myself to put water in the bottom of a container and sat the block in box on top of a bowl so it wouldn’t get wet. I made a humidity tent over the whole thing and misted the inside of the plastic at least twice a day and lo and behold after a week or 2 it started to grow!!!! I’ve never been so excited about a fungus in all my life!! lol I feel like this idea should maybe be written in their instructions as a trouble shooting kinda thing if you’re not getting any growth!! But anyway I’m thrilled to see them growing finally!!!

Not growing (we have positive control)
Nothing grew. The pink one, which was bought together, grew very well.

Got multiple yields.
Nice beginner kit for oyster mushrooms. Got three flushes. Fun! This has inspired me to try stepping up to the next level and making my own grow bags from spore. We'll see how that works.

Works great
Ordered this as a gift for someone who wanted to try growing their own food. The mushrooms grew quickly and worked well. The only thing I wished they added was more education material on why you do what you do as we learned for some you have to break it down or they just run with their own ideas of how it works.

Perfect
A fantastic gift and gift for myself! Easy as can be. Fresh mushrooms in your countertop? So fun.

Still waiting..
First product arrived barely colonized and smelled sour, and had clearly been opened previously, so I returned it and got a replacement. The replacement was similarly barely colonized, but didn't smell sour, so I put it to test. It's taken 3-4 weeks for the bag to fully colonize and reach a point where it's starting pins. So .. it'll be around 6 weeks from when it arrived to harvest time. Still not there yet. Other companies I've dealt with have generally sent kits that are nearly fully colonized. I'm new to all this, but it's unlikely I'll order from North Spore again if this is how their products normally are.
