The fan in our guest room fell to the floor (was there when we purchased our place the year before). We wanted a new one without the huge blades. This fan really throws the air around and is whisper quiet! We are snowbirds so when we get back to FL we're having the noisy one in our bedroom replaced with this also. As for ease of installation, we had our handyman do it but he wasn't there for long. I like the fact that the blades aren't big but do the job just as well.

I love this fan even though it is not brushed nickel as advertised. It is the perfect size for my kitchen. Very quiet and does throw a nice amount of air around the kitchen. The cords to turn fan/light on are a nice length. With my previous ceiling fan, I had to use a step stool to pull the cord to adjust the speed. Can't mention anything about installation, as I had somebody install it. He never complained that pieces were missing, so all is good! After searching for this type of ceiling fan, I appreciated the price of this one. It does look more expensive than what it cost. The brightness is ok for me because I have three ceiling lights. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Very nice looking and efficient for my kitchen but it makes a slight clicking noise for either direction.

I wanted to replace an older ceiling fan with something a little more clean/simple, in a very small guest room with a wall bump-out for added stackable laundry. (in other words... not a lot of room!) This almost seemed toylike when we took it out of the box, but I am beyond pleased! It took maybe 30 minutes to install, and works like a charm. The light holds two bulbs and is plenty bright. The fan, though short, has more blades than typical and really does push air! Even on the low setting it significantly cools this room - especially nice when the dryer is running! And best of all - it is very attractive. I just love it! Well above the price.

Excellent fan! Fit my small space perfectly. Fan is simple to install. Doesnt make any noise running, however on higher speed you do hear air movement. Very impressed by the amount of air it moves. Manufacturer customer service is good. I contacted them to order extra glass shades to put on my other kitchen fixtures so all lights match with the same schoolhouse globe.

The finish is not glossy but matte. It still resists fingerprints during the install, and looks much more elegant. I liked it so much I've ordered another. I have rentals and have installed many of the 30-inch westinghouse petite fans in bedrooms. The small design correlates better with smaller rooms, and the white blends into the ceiling so it doesn't feel like a large piece of furniture overhead. This 28-inch fan has a similar design but the quality is SO much better. It runs totally quiet even on the highest setting. No wobble. There are sound/vibration absorbers on all the blades, housing, and brackets. Instead of a pack of screws, the unit comes with the screws already in the holes so none are missing and there's no question where everything goes. The short, fat paddles throw a lot of air. Even the chain pulls are nicely weighted and elegant. I only just noticed 'glossy' in the title. I certainly hope the second one that should arrive today is also matte. Will update. UPDATE: Second fan arrived, also not glossy. Great fan.

Tiny little fan with huge power ! We bought one for the nursery and it is so cute and the power was amazing so now we have three in total in all the kids rooms! Great fan

This is an impressive ceiling fan for the size and price. Easy to install and super quiet. Only downside: when used in reverse during winter, the slowest speed is still too fast.
