Sticky Nail Base Coat by CND, Anchoring Base Coat Allows for Long Lasting, Healthy Color

CND Stickey base coat is the best basecoat evvver! My manicures consistently last 10 days or more when I use Stickey base coat. When I use another brand of base coat, the best I get from a manicure is 5 or 6 days.The only downside is the greenish-tint color can sometimes show through when the base coat gets older and thicker. If you're using darker polish, this is not a problem and its not an issue when the polish is new and hasn't gotten thick. But if you're using CND Stickey for a French manicure, the green tint will show through on the clear nail polish. Just be extra sure to keep the top screwed on tight so it doesn't get thickened.

I was introduced to Stickey years ago with the whole line of CND products, and I love it. I used it until I ran out, and didn’t replace it which was a big mistake because I kept using the nail polish and too coat, both of which are awesome, and over time I didn’t notice the difference without Stickey. Until I came across it on Amazon again and bought it again, used it and remembered how incredible it truly is. It really does keep the polish application even on my nails and stops the pooling at the base of my nail bed, AND it helps the polish last longer. I will never stop using it again, I love this stuff.

In the picture I attached. I used CND stickey base, two coats of ILNP "Walking Home" polish, and one coat of CND long wearing top coat. It's been over a week since I did my manicure and there is not one chip anywhere. The free edge is still covered and there are no signs of wear. I am convinced the stickey base combined with the long wear top coat is the key. I think the stickey base is a great anchor for the lacquer. I really like it.

This is the only base coat I will use. My manicures last a solid 7 days without any additional precautions (I don’t use gloves and my daily life is fairly hard on my hands). I’d used OPI, Orly, and Essie base coats and got 4-5 days out of them. My current combo of choice is CND Sticky and Seche Vive—lasts longer than a professional non-gel manicure!My only complaint is that by the time I’ve used about half the bottle, the formula has grown thick and hard to apply, leaving ridges on my nails that show through the polish. Thinning it doesn’t seem to help. I would rate five stars if I could use more of the bottle before replacing.

I work in the medical field and not only do I like my nails to always look nice, I almost always do some type of nail art like stamping for seasons, or French tip witch a coordinating color. I have been doing gel polish (I do it myself) forever. Despite that....It's a process. One I have mastered to help save time. I heard of this product and saw some specific polish that was amazing so I had to try. Even with my hands and cuticles themselves literally cracked, the polish has yet to chip or peel!After I soaked off all my previous gel polish and lightly buffed my nails, I applied the CND to all nails on one hand. I quickly then applied a coat of brilliant polish. Repeated process on other hand..Then went back and did a second coat of polish and lastly, topped it off with a coat of the Seche Vite.I will admit that I like that the gel polish gives my nails more strength since it thickens the nails....But if you need a break from gels or had acrylics taken off and need to keep polish on for a bit, this stuff works great! I think the key is to work quickly after applying so that product is still sticky on your nails. Good luck girls!

I use nothing else. After over a year of owning my bottle I left the lid off on the last little bit and it got goopy. Don't even try to use it if it does this haha. So I had to order more and you should have seen my happy dance when it arrived.What it does!!- makes polish stick in place and not slide into lines or puddles- gives a smoother finish- makes taking polish off easierSeriously I started using this over a year ago and have thrown anything else out. I even bring this and Svitche top coat to the nail salon with me to ensure I have the best polish job haha. I forgot last time and there stuff worked on my toes but I'd never dream of forgetting it for my fingers!I do paint my nails a LOT usually a few times a week and one bottle lasts more than a year. I do go through spurts of letting my nails "breath" so I can't say I've used it 3 times a week for 18 months but I used it a LOT.

I had always had problems with my nails chipping as soon as I painted them. This base coat, in addition to Seche Vite top coat, helped my last manicure last over a week before beginning to chip! I will say that rather than chipping, the entire nail would come off at once; however, I didn't mind because that made it easier to remove the nail polish. I also noticed that after using this product there was less residue on my nails when I did remove the polish.

I have been using this product for years and love it for keeping the polish on longer. The last bottle I got was more blue than usual and the blue shows through clear or translucent polish. I don’t like that.
