Wrist Brace for Carpal Tunnel for Women

This is a very good wrist brace. I have had carpal tunnel in both wrists...3 whole years before I got surgery. Trust me when I say that I have gone through A LOT of wrist braces. Occasionally I still get pain in my wrists, and wear a wrist brace to bed. This one has 3 straps, which gives you the ability to actually tighten/loosen around the wrist, the stay (the metal bar) is perfectly formed to keep your wrist straight, and from moving, yet allows you to rest the palm of your hand on it as well. The wrist brace is very soft and cushy where it needs to be, and there are no sharp corners, or anything that rubs on your skin. The thumb opening has ample room for your thumb. It is a very rigid, very well made wrist brace, that is very comfortable to wear. I gave it a full 5 stars, because it deserves it!! The only downside that I can see is that it's kind of bulky, but that's all that cushioning...it's a good thing! I got the L/XL, and it fits my chubby arm, with plenty of room to spare too!

Excellent value. Told to wear by Primary Care to help with tendonitis in wrist. Little better each day but improvement from other less substantial wrist braces.

I broke my wrist in two places. They put a splint over the elbow on it in the emergency room that day. I had surgery a week and a half later. Following surgery they had just put a shorter fiberglass (?) splint roughly the same length as this brace. The splint was sort of pokey on the ends, so I ordered the brace a week later. It’s working out really well. It is easy to take it off to change the dressing over the staples. I can also adjust how tight it is depending on swelling, and what not. I had a follow up visit today. The doctors office said the brace probably looked as good or better than what they would give me.

I ordered this for my husband who was having wrist pain. When I can actually get him to stop being stubborn and wear it, it really helps him. He never wants to admit he’s in pain or do anything to help it, but when he does wear this, I definitely notice him wincing a lot less. It definitely limits your range of motion while wearing it, but that seems to be the point of it.
