Vetoquinol Enzadent Dental Chews for Medium Dogs - 30 Count

I have weird dogs... two little yorkie-poos who are prone to terrible breath. I've bought every type of dental chew I could find and they never ate a single one. The one pup would instead try to find a hiding spot to "bury" her treat in. Lifting up the corners of rugs, behind furniture, etc. These treats... THESE TREATS... they both love! So much so that I use it to bribe them into getting their teeth brushed. I take the treat bag out and set it on the counter. Before I turn around, two little dogs are sitting and waiting to get their teeth brushed because they know after they do, they get this treat. Then the most amazing thing of all.... they both sit down and chew the treat up. No snubbing the treat, no hiding the treat. Just chewing. So I sure hope it actually helps with their terrible breath. :P

I bought these for my Pom. He loved them and they were tough enough that he could enjoy chewing but never really could break off parts to swallow. they were safe for him because I don’t want my dog to the swallow these raw hides. They gave him days of chewing pleasure until they became so yukie I would throw them in the trash. But ...I added a new Pom pup to the family 10 months ago. I gave one of this same chew to him this week and he completely chewed it up and swallowed it in pieces before I knew what he was doing. Not good. So if your dog is a determined chewer that will destroy a hard rawhide I don’t recommend them. But if he is a light chewer that just chews for the pleasure you might try them.

There is propylene glycol other wise known as anti freeze in this product. It’s made in Mexico. Propylene glycol almost killed another one of my dogs. Can make them deadly ill. Returning product!! The company says that in small amounts anti freeze is ok for your animals. Can you believe that!!!

I do not recommend these at all. They are different from the ones that your local vet sells. My dog will eat absolutely anything but he won’t eat the ones that I have bought on Amazon. I bought a bag from my vet today and he ate it right away. I don’t know what the difference is but it is quite alarming. Buy these from your local vet and not from this retailer.

My old dog used to love these. She spent hours on them and so I bought some for my new puppy. She got the strip wet and then swallowed the strip whole. Very disappointed.

We have a small dog with a VERY sensitive stomach (Rx food) and he has no issues with these. They keep his breath in check and help with plaque buildup on his back teeth, which are almost impossible to brush. Great find.

I originally found these at my vet's office and then ordered them on Amazon. This vendor has the best price, but is currently out of stock. My dogs (3 golden retrievers) love these and they are safe and keep their teeth clean.

My dog loves these but they don’t last long! I first got them from the vet and they were super expensive. Found them on Amazon much cheaper I will continue to buy!
