Totally love the whole concept of this show/programme. It's like Buff The Vampire Slayer for the modern age and a new 'take' on the bilge of zombie related TV and film we have suffered of late. As someone in the UK, I'm just baffled no TV network has picked up on this, not even Sky TV. Whoever bought this series, would be onto a winner. And so is Rose McIver :-)From a Pilot, to series one to in April 2016 just ending with series two, iZombie' would easily bridge the gap between X-Files and Dr Who fans. BBC, you have missed the boat ..again!Looking forward to the DVD of season 2.

This was an unexpected and pleasant surprise in that I had not seen this season when it first aired and normally this type of cross genre "comedy/zombie" theme would not appeal to me at all. But the acting is great, the lead characters are all charismatic and appealing and there is a great chemistry between them. The only slight criticism is that mid way through the police procedural 'crime of the week' format did begin to get a little formulaic, but this was more then made up for by the subplots and story arc that began to develop underneath all of this. Great series and definitely recommended!

Great show very funny

I saw reviews of this programme and thought it was right up my street. I had to wait for it to come out on DVD to be able to watch it as it isn't aired in the UK.it is very funny and Rose McIver is a brilliant actress and the supporting cast work well.TV networks are missing out on a fantastic programme!

I didn't really know anything about this before purchasing, but as a huge fan of the zombie genre I bought it anyway.I was hoping for something along the lines of The Walking Dead, but it's basically just a police procedural show except one of them is a zombie. Should have been called CSI:zombie lolIt's ok, I'll watch it, and the cast is great.(Wasn't sure what region this was before purchase, but I only have a uk player and it works fine so must be region 2)

Never mind the DVD I went on Amazon USA to buy the Blu-Ray Region Free version... The speedy service was excellent and the Blu-Ray's play great...This is a superb Series and I highly recommend anyone into Buffy or Walking Dead that likes a fun humorous entertaining TV series they can site down and watch easily...I saw a few episodes on line and was hooked so I went out and bought Season 1 & 2 on Blu-Ray from the Amazon USA site right there and then... Do it!!

Found series one and two on Netflix and got hooked, great cast and good storylines. Nice to see some lighthearted zombies on telly for a change. Unfortunately I'd rather buy a Blu Ray than a DVD though so I'm going to hold out and see what happens :)

Fantastic zombie fun!

Wer bei iZombie eine Zombieserie wie The Walking Dead oder ähnliches erwartet wird vermutlich eintäuscht werden, auch wenn einen das Cover anderes vermuten lässt.Wer aber eine clevere Krimiserie mit sympatischen Charakteren sucht, der sollte hier undedingt zugreifen.in iZombie folgen wir Liv Moore (Rose McIver) die nachdem sie von einem Zombie gebissen wurde und somit selbst zu einer Untoten geworden ist, wie sie in der Gerichtsmedizin anfängt und mit ihrem Partner bei der Polizei Fälle aufklärt. Der Clou der Serie ist, dass Zombies keine Willenlosen Geschöpfe sind, sondern, so lange sie regelmäßig Gehirne essen, fast ganz normale Menschen sind. Sobald sie ein Hirn isst, bekommt Liv allerdings Visionen des Opfers und übernimmt Teile dessen Persönlichkeit, was immer wieder zu witzigen und kuriosen Situationen führt. Die Serie erinnert in vielerlei Hinsicht an Veronica Mars, was an Schöpfer Rob Thomas liegt, welcher für beide Serien verantwortlich ist.Die Serie ist für Leute zu empfehlen, welche Veronica Mars, Castle, Bones oder ähnliches mögen

Ich liebe diese Serie!!!Mit Witz, Charme und Spannung erzählt sie das Leben von Liv, die eigentlich das perfekte Leben führt: toller Verlobt, erfolgreiche Ärztin, liebende Familie, was will man mehr?!Dann, auf einer Party auf einem Boot, wo sie nicht mal hin wollte, wird sie gekratzt und verwandelt sich in einen Zombie!!!Zombie und Ärztin? Eher undenkbar...Zombie und Verlobt?? Genauso schräge Kombi...Zombie und Familie??? Äääääääääääh 😅Für jeden Serienfan, der gern lacht, Ironie und Sarkasmus zu schätzen weiß, Krimis lieb und kein Problem mit dem Magen hat, ist diese Serie ein MUSS

Von Anfang an findet man in die Serie hinein und die Hauptdarsteller wachsen einem ans Herz. Vor allem Liv ist einzigartig, bzw auch nicht, denn sie spielt die einzelnen "Hirne" formvollendet und ihr Freund der Gerichtsmediziner ist dabei grossartig. Einse Superserie, die man gesehen haben muss!

Es ist einfach eine lustige Arztserie ohne Blut und Gedärme, wie man so denkt wenn man Zombie liest.

Cette série tirée d'un bande dessinée est très originale puisque l'héroïne de cette dernière n'est autre qu'un médecin légiste plus morte que vive. Elle résout des enquête policière en mangeant une partie du cerveau des victimes. L'humour noir dans cette série est prédominant, ce qui rend cette dernière unique dans son genre.
