Fitment is perfect. Had some charge out the box and charged it the rest of the way. My old laptop is wireless again lol.

So far it appears to be a good T480 battery.
After several years of service, the original external battery for my Lenovo T480 was pretty tired, so it was replacement time. I saw this one at a reasonable price, so thought I'd take a chance. It looks like the original battery, but since the new one is a so-called type 61++ battery (Lenovo-speak for an extended run time battery) it's about double the thickness of the old battery. That's not necessarily bad - the extra thickness raises the back of the laptop, sort-of like a stand would do. However, that extra thickness does come at a cost - weight. The original Lenovo battery (which is a so-called type 61 - in other words, a standard basic battery) weighs 4.5 ounces. The replacement weighs almost three times as much - 11.2 ounces. So, take your choice: short run time but light, or longer run time but heavy. It was shipped in an unmarked brown box, and was delivered on time. Packed with the battery was an instruction "manual" similar to the "manuals " shipped with most Chinese electronics. In other words, don't expect any pearls of wisdom to be imparted from this document. I did learn one thing though: the seller recommends that you shouldn't hammer a nail into the battery pack. I kid you not.Installation was uneventful - it fit perfectly and snapped into place solidly. It was accepted into the system without any complaint about not being manufactured by Lenovo. The initial factory charge was about 30 percent, and it immediately charged to normal level. I say "normal level" rather than full, because this laptop spends most of it's time plugged in, so I used the Lenovo app to set the maximum charge level to 80 percent, as usually recommended to improve the lifetime of batteries installed in units that are always plugged in.As is always a concern with inexpensive replacement batteries, only time will tell if this was a good purchase or a dud. I'll update this review if I run into any issues, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Seems a solid replacement battery for my Dell E7450 laptop
I use my old Dell E7450 laptop as signage in my home, to display time and weather information. I noticed it would power down at even the shortest power failure, and eventually looked to see that the original battery was very swollen. Yikes!I didn't want to spend too much on what simply is a power backup battery, and this one seemed to fit the bill. I checked other items from the COWOOGMZ store, and they had pretty good ratings. The battery came in two days, securely packaged in dense closed-cell foam and a cardboard box.It installed with an easy "snap" into my laptop. It's not a perfectly flush fit at the edges, but that might easily be the result of the previous swollen battery having twisted my laptop's frame. The battery arrived charged to around 70%. I charged it up to 100%, let it discharge to 5% over a 7 hour period, and then back up to 100%. It behaved as a new battery should through this cycling, and never getting too warm to the touch.I think this is a keeper, but sometimes batteries act great until they die soon after. I'll surely come back here and update if I have any problems.

Works
This battery fit my E7440 and gave it a life off its charger again.Beware that on an older laptop like the E7440 that your coin cell battery may be dead. If so, and you remove your main battery, you can lose all of your setup/BIOS settings and leave your laptop unable to boot. The main two settings that prevent booting are the boot type (UEFI or BIOS/Legacy) and for some reason the SSD setting defaults to RAID when it shouldn't. You would be wise to capture your settings before replacing the main battery.

Hooray for being unplugged for more than 45 minutes!
Context is king: I once worked in the retail store for the manufacturer of the laptop. I was still a new user of the brand, and had my doubts due to the price. Then a nice couple came in, mid-50s. They brought with them the first-ever color laptop model. This thing was 18 years old and still worked. Thing could vote if it had a pulse. They were coming in to buy a new laptop only because their kid was stationed overseas and wanted to be able to use a webcam. They were still using the old one daily!I don't upgrade or replace my laptop every 2-3 years because I continue to upgrade as long as I possibly can. Now this one is getting to the point where it's chugging a bit for my purposes, but it's going to be awesome in its new life: my kids' first laptop. They're 5-1/2 and will mostly use it for learning games, maybe drawing, FaceTime with their cousins, and so on. The problem is that they're not great about being tethered to a power cable, so its relatively short 'off-leash' endurance was an issue.Well, one new battery later and this laptop from 2011 is finding new life. Who knows? Maybe it will last another 4 years and match the record of the laptop who opened my eyes and won me over all those years ago.
