Julius Meinl - Nespresso compatible - Capsules Ristretto Intenso - 10 x 5.3g

Nice to have a full flavored well rounded cup of coffee. Nice start with a strong roast flavor but it doesn't end there it has a lovely well rounded end as well. A strong cup of coffee is preferred but not one that just stops at the first full taste then disappears,this hits the mark on all counts. I've been a devote of Illy but this is a very strong competition.

As one I expected …strong and nutty !

Mid range in my opinion. Certainly not the worst nespresso compatible capsules I’ve used but also far from some of the really good ones I’ve had. Unfortunately for this particular one, mid range is not enough for me to buy again. The espresso itself is in my opinion on the weaker side of the spectrum, the crema isn’t bad but I prefer a thicker, richer crema. This one is more of a flat and thinner one. The actual extraction of the coffee form the machine seems to have way too much water in the flow. Hence, the reason why I feel the espresso is weak. Perhaps, the capsules themselves are not packed properly. I’ll most likely use the rest of them to make lattes.

Meinl Nespresso pods are amazing. Delivery (box not sealed and bent, and you can see the pods from the outside because the box bent so much.) So delivery, not too good. Still, I will re-order because the coffee is excellent.

Completely disappointed . Had this espresso in Leopold Restaurant in Georgetown and LOVED it. The pods were completely tasteless. Perhaps they were too old.
