I bought these to help my horse free up and stabilize his hindquarters. At first he wobbled a good bit but he soon stabilized and was able to stand relaxed. These showed no signs that they had been used by a 1200 lb horse so.... when my physical therapist gave me an exercise using a balancing foam mat, I came home, easily wiped these off and put them to use under my knees and feet for exercising. Like my mustang, I wobbled at first but seemed quick to stabilize and be able to move my other body parts around freely while on the pads. They are thick and though firm, were soft enough that my old, surgically repaired, not happy about bending, knee was able to kneel on them. Highly recommend.

This product is sturdy, wide and very useful as a seat booster for the handicapped.

I was reluctant to get an off brand because they all had some negative reviews. But this one seemed to be the best and decided to take a chance. I've only used it twice, but so far so good. One complaint of one the other brands is it was too hard and no different from standing on the floor. It is springy enough to make it a challenge to stand on and my footprints quickly disappear. So far it hasn't flattened.

I ordered this on recommendation from my physical therapist to help improve flexion in my knee following post total knee replacement. This allows me to do the exercise regardless of where I am (while I can use my bed, it isn't in front of the TV).It is a good width, and is very comfortable on my surgical knee. There is an added bonus of being able to use this for other exercises to improve balance. I highly recommend.

Sturdy and does what the half ball does without taking up space. Although only works on one foot at a time.

I couldn't justify spending$200 on the horse specific foam balancing pads for horses so figured I would give these a shot. These did the trick! I bought two small round pads and will likely be buying two more so I can use one on each hoof. My horse was very happy finding her balance and became very relaxed using these for just a few minutes :)
