Endangered Species Chocolate Dark Chocolate with Cocoa Nibs Bar, 3 Ounce - 12 per case.

We always purchase Endangered Species chocolate because it tastes delicious and has low cadmium unlike many other brands. Since I could not purchase my favorite flavor bar, dark chocolate with cacao nibs, at any local store, I ordered online. I was worried because it is still warm at this time of year and the chocolate could have easily melted during shipment. I received the order today and was delighted with the packing. It had been shipped in foil insulated bag with an ice pack. It arrived in perfect condition. I would highly recommend this chocolate and especially this vendor.

I have bought a lot of these candy bars. I love them. But this time, there was a bad, mildewed taste. I think it was from the nibs which seemed to have gone off. I've noticed Whole Foods is now carrying every other variety of this brand and am wondering if there was a spoiled shipment of nibs. I don't know, but I do know the bars from this box that I tried were bad. Very disappointing. Amazon was great about offering a refund and telling me to just trash these.

Love this chocolate! I break it up and use only 2 squares a day (trying to cut calories) but is just enough tosatisfy my "sweet" tooth. Just can't beat good chocolate!
