Great for cable labeling
I have so many cables with computers, TVs, monitors, Audio/Video Receivers, many gaming systems, BluRay players, and more, that cable management is challenging. These allow clear (and nice looking) labeling of power and data cables. It makes life so much easier! These are good quality. They don't come undone, but you can easily open them if needed. The included label slips work great with them. And these fit most power and data cables.I've purchased many of these in the past, and would continue to, if needed in the future.Recommended product!

Extremely effective cable ID solution...
I own a lot of electronics. Probably too many. But I'm a geek and I love my tech toys. I LOVE these little items. I no longer have to play "let's see what goes out when I unplug this cable" when I'm trying to power cycle an electronic device that is acting up or when I need to relocate a device to a different area of my home. I am so happy with how easy to install these were and how easily read the labels inside each clip was. Having the colored dots to also help identify things was just that little bit of icing on the cake. Now I can easily tell which is the power cord to my PS3, PS4 or XBox One. I no longer have to guess at which cable is which for the multi-monitor setup for my gaming PC...as I've got them all easily labeled and color coded as well. It's one of those things that 99% of the time, most people will likely never need to worry about...but that 1% of the time you have to deal with figuring out which cable goes where...you'll be patting yourself on the back for ordering these simple, effective and quite brilliant little pieces of plastic goodness. I honestly wish now I'd have opted for the 100-pack instead of the 12-pack.I've included pics as an example. At my computer desk, I have multiple devices plugged in to a power strip. The strip itself resides in a recessed area under the main part of the desk, above a drawer. The strip is as far forward as it will reach. Without the ID tags, I was stuck having to reach back and grab something, unplug it and then check and see what doesn't have power. Thanks to a color coded dot on each device I can know that if I need to unplug my 3rd monitor, it's the green plug. The 1st one is the yellow plug, etc. It's so much more convenient now to deal with my cables.Pros -Simple to use...just use a fingernail (or dime/etc. if you have short nails) to pop it open. Write down device name on the included labels. Push labels into clip with ya fingernail or a closed pen or something. Snap the clip shut around cable. That's it. Takes all of 30 seconds per cable including the time writing on the labels. You can optionally (I'd recommend it if they're in locations that make it hard to read the labels) put the (included) small color coded dots on the devices themselves. I personally put the dots along the top of TV's/monitors & sides of other things to make it easy to glance over and see what color is connected to it.Makes identifying cables a breeze.Cons -The ONLY con I can see is one of personal preference...I simply wish they had about double the amount of colors available to make it that much easier to identify things if you have a large power strip and such. But seriously, these things are awesome, even with just the 6 colors available.

Just what I needed
I looked at several similar items but selected this cord identification system because of its compact size. It was very easy to use and once attached to the cord was quite stable, meaning it didn't come apart accidentally and didn't interfere with wrapping the cord up. Happy with this purchase

Awesome Solution!
I love these! What a great solution to not knowing what the other end of a cord is attached to! Not sure if this is how you attended the product to be used, But it makes sense to me to put the matching color and number on each end. i.e.: I put an orange clip with #1 insert card on the cord, on the other end I put an orange #1 sticker on the device next to where the cord is plugged in. I took off a star because while there is a matching label for the orange, yellow, green, and blue clips, you left a a gray clip and a red label. Not a huge deal, but why not make that last match!?

For The OCD Organizing Pro
As someone that's a little OCD when it comes to organization, I love love love this cable identification set.— COLORS —You get 100 total plastic pieces: 20x each of blue, gray, orange, lime, and yellow. This is so amazing for organization! An example of how I use it: you can have blue for media like video games and Blu-ray, gray for internet devices, orange for charging wires, lime for the kitchen, and yellow for miscellaneous. The possibilities are endless!— LABELING —You get a sheet that is pre-cut to fit inside each plastic identifier. Along with my , I don't have to worry about sloppy handwriting to label my things. Nice and consistent text! You also get colored numbered dot stickers to coordinate. An example of using this is connecting speaker wires to a receiver. Red 3 cord goes to Red 3 dot. Easy breezy. Amazing!— FIT —These have a "universal fit" for cords, and will fit cords 0.125 in (3.2 mm) to 0.375 in (9.5 mm) thick. Open up the plastic, wrap it around the cord, and snap it closed. These will fit the majority of your everyday cords, but won't fit on thick electrical cables.— REUSE —If one of your devices breaks and you need to relabel, just open up the plastic identifier and change out the label inside with an updated name for the next device's name. The plastic itself is resistant to degradation due to dust, dirt, heat, and moisture, so you don't have to worry about that. Woot.— SUMMARY —This is a cord organizer's dream product: color-coding in a sturdy material. Label once and life is easy. Everything is organized! Highly recommended.

Easy to Use and Makes Cables Easy ti Identify Whule Being Unobtrusive
Met the need I used then to label microphones cables on stage so performers can quickly find their cable. I created my labels with a PTouch label maker and fit them inside the ID capsule. I glued the labels into the capsule so I can easily remove and replace the cable labeling to match the performers I am working with.A little difficult to glue the labels in place for my application but that isn't how they are intended to be used.

Para poner algo de orden a tu cablerío
Simplemente son identificadores de cables de colores, muy buenos si tienes tu desorden con varios cables iguales, también incluye algunas calcomanías y cartoncillos por si quieres identificar por número o poner una nota.

A very sensible step up for all my cables !
These are even better than I expected. I've messed around with hand-made paper cable-tags for years, but these are a leap forward ! Love the twinningof colours for both ends of any cable and the ability to switch the ID I write inside them if ever I might want to. Good size and feel very durable too.

Work great with label makers
These are GREAT. This gives me a semi-permanent way of adding labels to my cords in a very standardized fashion. This will fit up to a slim-medium 14ga cord. Medium and thicker 14 ga cords (like on power bars) will be a tight squeeze (if it fits at all). This gives me a nice, smooth surface to attach a label (I use 1/2" label maker) to clearly identify my cords.

Great
Nice product, works great on regular cables. If you have braided cables, these will not fit.
