Great, compact product that easily stores a 4kg bag of dried cat food. The lid opens fully on a hinge so is dead easy to fill the cat's food bowls. Nice, secure catch and seal round the lid that keep the food fresh and my wicked, greedy kitty away from seconds (and thirds...). Also really like the smoked plastic effect as it's easy to see how much food's left and it looks a bit smarter than your average plastic tub. Highly recommended.

We have a puppy and with him we bought a 20 kilo bag of puppy food. As soon as we came home the puppy tore a hole in the bottom of the food bag! The bag was taken up-stairs away from temptation but the smell was awful. So we chose a Van Ness Pet Food Storage Container 50ib/22.7Kg.Perfect. problem solved, this has wheels for easy access and for cleaning behind too. The lid has a rubber seal which prevents the smell of puppy food permeating the house. The size is just right, we also store puppy treats as there is plenty of room. We agree with other reviewers, this bin is overpriced for a molded plastic product but it does the job and there is nothing else available that is as good.

It has many uses

You might get a cheaper container but I doubt you'll get one as well made as the Van Ness ones. They are very sturdy and the lids lock positively. These are the only ones I will be buying in future

Good strong and airtight, what it said it was - still too expensive, but not many of this quality on the market, so no competition

With three cats in the house we do get through a lot of cat biscuits and obviously buying in bulk is far more cost effective.I was concerned that a container large enough to hold a bulk bag of biscuits might not be air-tight or mobile enough but this ticks all the right boxes.The container opens/closes with a distinct 'click' noise (which our cats now recognise and come running to!) and the inside of the lid has an air-tight ring. We're almost at the end of a 10kg bag of biscuits and they still smell as fresh as when we first opened the packet. Great purchase!

Great for the cat's dry food. You can see how much is in the box, but it looks neat out on the kitchen floor. The lid has a good clasp to keep the food fresh and to keep the cat food smell in the box! Quick an easy to dispense into the cat's bowl - I bought a scoop separately on Amazon. Good purchase.

Had this for ages, it's great, keeps the food dry and is completely airtight.Fantastic product, would recommend it. I keep it in my garage and have no problems with damp food.

I bought this and have been using it for months now to store my puppy's dry food. I love the size of it because is perfect to keep a good portion of food for her ready and handy. It doesn't take up too much space, so I am able to store the container on the shelve. It's made of good material and I can already tell it will last me a long time. The food stays nice, fresh, and sealed. I would recommend this product.

This container is a good size to store dog food. The plastic is durable and the wheels make it easy to move. The seal keeps the food fresh and the locking handle works very well and stays closed even with dogs trying to nudge it open. We were so satisfied with this container we bought another one.

I liked this so much, I bought a second.The price can't be beat. That's easily the biggest selling point for me. But I also love the size and convenience of the lid. I can get in and out of this with ease. The way the clasp flips and secures is great. And it seals well keeping the food fresh/safe. I buy 14lbs bags of dry food for one cat. And given she gets wet food too, the bag lasts a while. A good while. These containers keep it fresh throughout. They tuck away neatly too.No complaints here!

Great for using for extra storage in the kitchen, using this for flour. Love that it’s on wheels!
