I had never exercised with water weights. So I don't have too much experience with them. But my opinion is that this set is nicely priced, well constructed, comfortable, nice to look at, and a great way to get a non impact fun workout. I only used them in the pool with no chlorine effects. The belt and ankle are foam, covered with a material bonded to it. They are comfortable non abrasive on skin. The weights are straight dence foam. Do some research before purchase for weight to exercise with.

The products were better than I expected.
