I was skeptical but wow this is pretty cool. Lightweight and it fits in the middle seat with a big baby car seat on one side and a toddler regular booster on the other which is exactly what I needed for guest travelers. Not for every day use but I suppose it could be if needed especially if you are traveling. Keeps everthing where it should be even for smaller kids. However it's kind of hard so I did get a complaint about that from one of the kids wanting to sit on the regular booster that was much softer. All in all I would recommend and buy again. Definitely worth it.

A clever product that looks at a problem in a different way (pull the seatbelt down to the child rather than lift the child up to the seatbelt). We purchased this for our travels to the US recently as we didn’t want to pay a car hire company several times the value of this car seat to loan it for a week. It fits easily in a suitcase and weighs very little for travelers. Our daughter loved it and didn’t mind sitting in it for long trips (5-6 hours). Easy to set up and use and transfer between cars. I only wish it was legal to use in Australia, but I read they are working on certification here.

I’ve looked at the literature and studies and I’ve looked at the laws, and the truth is, for kids 4+, boosters don’t do much of anything that a standard seatbelt isn’t already doing... yet my state (and nearly all others) requires kids to be in some sort of booster seat until they’re 8. I’ve got a small car (Jetta) and 3 kids I’ve go to squeeze in and found it impossible to fit 2 boosters and a baby seat... but I finally found these, and they fit the bill. They suffice for the legal requirements, and they fit in a tiny car. They are not the easiest things to use if you’re going to be a stickler about running the belt through every channel provided; my 7 year old can do it, my 4 year old cannot without help. They both tell me they’re a little uncomfortable on their bottoms after a long trip, but they seem to have adjusted and forgot about that issue after a week or so of use

Biggest thing here is it brings the seat belt down over the shoulder and across the chest, versus over the neck without the seat. The lap belt is also more snug and rests across the lap. Serves its purpose and travels well!

My son loves the idea of this car seat and it helps him feel like a big kid, but the downside is his poor little butt hurts so bad if we spend more than 20 minutes in the car. The idea and concept is amazing, once I googled and googled to check if I felt comfortable with the idea I ordered it. Only to see the week after I got it that they had a newer version with more padding 🤦‍♀️ this one is practically a rock and is just not comfortable. Everything else though, ease of access, usability and functionality are amazing.

I'm a CPST. I bought this to try for my 9yo who is too wide to fit in most boosters but still needs one for my car. I was hoping that this would work given she's on the bigger percentiles (90th for both height and weight). But unfortunately even at her size the belt fit is AWFUL. It puts the belt low on her thighs. So low that if we were to crash she would likely break her lower spine as the force would cause her torso to go forward while the belt kept her thighs on the seat. Deal breaker and hard no. I wouldn't recommend this booster to anyone and i wish they would take it off the market. If the fit is this bad for my big kid there's no way it would fit appropriately for the smaller kids.Also she said it was awfully uncomfortable too as it's got very little padding but a plastic bottom. Avoid this one. That's my professional review.

Bought it for my grandson and did not want a large carseat. The harness insures seatbelts are snug and provide the appropriate safety for his height/weight. This works great and he enjoys sitting "on the seat" as it makes him feel like he is actually sitting in the car not booster.

This is our 2nd mifold car seat to purchase. I honestly don't love the original because it folds in half. It seems to really confuse the children that sit in it. They think its supposed to go up onto their back. So when I was looking for a new car seat for my almost 5 year old I wasn't sure we'd go with another Mifold. But when I saw Mifold One I was so excited to see that others must have had the same feelings about the original as I had. It installed quick and takes up way less space than a high back booster. Not sure about traveling with it and if it will be an issue if my daughter falls asleep in the car. I guess we'll see. I purchased because it seemed to be very difficult for her to buckle into the high back booster and buckling is never an issue when she sits in her big sisters Mifold. I'm happy they made updates to the original. My daughters love these seats because they feel like big girls.
