One of the plastic sleeves for the slats came in with a crack that I easily reinforced to be on the safe side. Also there was a spot where a piece of wood in the footboard had a fracture of sorts and could be pressed in. Since there is upholstery over it and it can't be seen, I don't care myself about this.We had bought this for my 7yo who wanted a bed that looked like our king bed as he liked the upholstered frame. to that point I can say that the look and quality of this frame is comparable to that of the much more expensive one we bought at a major higher end furniture retailer. So in terms of value I would say this product far exceeds that one!This would have 5 stars if it were not for the two minor flaws I mentioned. If this company just were to tweak their quality control they'd be perfect.
