I got these cans to test out, and I can instantly tell that this is a quality product that you need to put on your truck. It really does have a good blend of waxy and oily properties. I could just tell that this was the way. Problem is though that these cans just don't go very far. I used the whole case on my 91 f150 and i was barely able to get most of the frame. To really do a good job on my truck and get every nook and cranny I think I would need like 3-4 cases of these cans, also the cans aren't powerful enough to really spray very far, meaning it's harder to get into the hard to reach nooks and crannies. So the optimal choice would be to get the bulk 5 gallon tubs and set up an air compressor. These cans are more for like touch ups, for spraying battery terminals, latches, hood hinges, hardware, stuff like that. These cans definitely aren't meant for bulk work. I would totally recommend either paying a shop to spray your vehicle or investing in a home setup. I didn't clean my truck or anything this stuff went on smooth, and STUCK. my 91 f150 has been in Colorado most of it's life so honestly it doesn't have bad rust, and it wasn't very dirty. This stuff still went on very nicely. I have enough experience to know that this product is what needs to be used. Paint will just chip and flake, so no reason to waste all the time taking the bed off, sanding, wire wheel, priming and painting. Too much effort, it's far more logical to just spray on some of this stuff once a year. In fact I think I would get the black version because I believe they use graphite for the black color which will just add further rust resistance and lubrication. Another thing I like about this product is that not only is it a rust inhibitor but a lubricator as well and it's safe to spray on pretty muvh everything. With paint you have to becareful of wires, and moving parts. This stuff you just spray everywhere and let it do it's thing. This is a quality product that I think is mandatory for vehicle maintenance. If i was smart I would have laid down a tarp or something, but honestly I just did this on the dirt. Love this product, it's easy, it's simple, it's effective. I think the ease of application for the effectiveness is really the selling point here. With paint you have a bunch of prep work, with cosmoline wax you have a bit more worry with things like moving parts and wires, with this stuff you just spray to your hearts content, the frame doesn't even need to be that clean or prepped. This product really does have the properties of a wax and a penetrating oil, it's really cool honestly. Obviously I don't think this is a one and done thing, but then again nothing truly is. You will probably need to do this once a year, but honestly I think that's a small price to pay, besides while you are down there you can check other things on your truck, and it only takes like 30 minutes-1hr. Love this stuff I am gonna be spraying it on everything I am sure.

I live in upstate New York. We have long winters humid summers and for whatever reason the state still uses salt on the roads. If you don’t do something to protect your vehicle, the under body will disintegrate overtime. I started applying this to my jeep Wrangler a couple years ago. I usually buy a six pack or two. I find it really helps with rust and corrosion. Probably the only downside is it really stinks. The first time I applied I didn’t use a respirator, but in recent applications I’ve been wearing a full face respirator. I don’t know if it’s necessary, but I feel better about it. If you want to protect your investment and prolong the life of your vehicle or just effectively combat the rusting of any metal I would highly recommend this stuff.

We've been using this product for about 7 years on both vehicles. It is usually applied in the fall before the winter and lasts throughout the snow and salted roads season. We also take the vehicles through the carwash with undercarriage spray at least a couple times a month, weather permitting. It holds up well to this washing and continues to provide protection. Both vehicles are 10 years old and other than a few bolts and other small reas of surface rust, there is no frame or component rust. The underside looks better than vehicles in our area that are two years old with no treatment. We will continue to use as long as its available. The cost is well worth the protection afforded.

This is the best stuff ever. Great for lubrication, rust proofing, and I even use it to clean up my tools before putting them away.

The product is great, the application tube, not good at all. I purchased a one gallon can and a 6 pack of the aerosol cans plus a Fluid Film spray applicator. The gallon can and sprayer worked great for accessing the boxed rocker panels and other boxed area on the bottom of my vehicle. The spray cans were purchased to spray inside of areas the larger applicator wand would not fit, fail. The red extension tubes will not stay seated in the nozzle of the spray can. I now have two application tubes inside of the control arms on the car. Come on FF, offer a functional small diameter extension tube/nozzle for the spray cans.
