Easier than expected
First time developing my own film. I got everthing set up in a water bath using a sous-vide machine. Inside the water bath I placed 1L bottles that were full with water I would be using to mix the powders. I got them up to temp and mixed the powders according to the instructions. Then let them sit in the bath again to bring them back up to temperature. Got my patterson tank loaded, and followed the instructions for developing. They're pretty straight forward instructions. I used a stopwatch on my phone to keep track of the timings. Making sure to invert the tank according to the times on the instruction sheet, and amptying the tank at the correct time. Very pleased with the results after drying/scanning them. The initial set up took a bit of time and effort, but now that it's all made up, the process should be even easier and much faster now. At least untill I need another batch. Highly recommend it. Saves so much time when compared to waiting for a lab to develop for you, and the cost per roll works out cheaper too.

Colour processing made easy.
Excellent product and makes me wonder why I didn't try developing colour film negatives along time ago as it's super easy. Just get hold of a this kit, a Paterson tank, changing bag, thermometer and a sous vide and you have every that you'll need to process beautiful colour negatives.

Well, That Escalated Quickly.
I've had it less than 12 hours and I started off my first try at colour with a 110, an hour later I was 4 rolls of 135 done and trying out ECN2, all with great (for a beginner) results! I hesitated for 6 months to buy this kit and now I regret not buying it right away. Today alone paid for itself in going to the shop for developments. Not to mention I skipped the part where you buy a water heater and just ran the sink up to 40c. As for hobby difficulty ranking. Easier than 3D printing but harder than laser cutting. Need the patients of a painter airbrushing to pull it off. If you've done black and white at home you can do this kit.

Easy to follow instructions for mixing. Simple 2 step process, then rinse, hang to dry. Works very well even for inversion hand method. Will order again. Save the lab fees and do it yourself

Great C41 chemical choice. I like the idea of combining bleach and fixer to form blix. Saves me from an extra step. Reusable up to 24 rolls is a definite plus. It makes a liter and I only need 650ml for my tank. Store it in an accordion bottle and in the refrigerator for long term storage after mixing. Good paper instructions, good instructional videos online, easy to work with. Recommended

Love this stuff. It makes developing color C41 film super easy to do at home. Instructions are easy to follow and every roll I’ve developed using these chemicals have came out great. I highly recommend getting a sous vide to regulate the temperature of your chemical solutions when developing.
