First let me say, Customer Service was great! I contacted them through email and they responded very quickly and addressed my issue. I installed these about a year ago on a 2011 WRX. The aluminum housings are rigid and strong. I was able to easily rout the wire under body panels and attach the long side rails with Rare Earth magnets under the chassis. Using magnets eliminated the need to drill holes and hold really well. They actually hold so well you need to use a tool to get them off. This was a much better solution than using the "tape" style LED's sold by others. I have seen too many of these style lights fall off in the Florida heat. Here is a link to the magnets I used: https://amzn.to/3syoWG8 . I sourced stainless hardware locally to attach the LED's to the magnets using the tabs on the end of the LEDs. I also added 2 magnets to the middle area of each side using the included clips and zip ties. This put 4 100lb magnets on each side LED so they are going nowhere. If you do this I would recommend removing as much of the undercoating as you can where the magnets is but be careful not to damage the paint. Overall the brightness is great! I had read on other products that some people installed two sets of lights, this was not needed with these. The app works very well on my Apple phone and is easy to navigate. I plan to purchase an interior set since you can link them in the app and sync the color. The control unit is mounted in an enclosure under the hood next to the fuse box. I can connect to it from about 35' away with no issues. One thing to note, I wired these to an "always on" power source so they can be run while it's parked for car meets at night. I have forgotten to turn these off several times at the end of the night and found that they draw so little power it did not drain the battery overnight.

First off, people giving bad reviews about Bluetooth connectivity probably installed the control box in the engine bay which the instructions specifically states to not do due to high temps and possible moisture. If the control box is in the engine bay, the Bluetooth signal will have to pass through more material (e.g. firewall) you’ll most likely have a weak or failing connection. A lot of people also mentioned about one of the wires being too short. I ran into this problem, but found a grommet I could run the wires through in the wheel well area and all standard wires made it into my driver’s footwell area easily. You just need to examine your vehicle to find the best path for your wires. Build quality is really nice. The aluminum frame is lightweight and rigid which helps mounting it correctly and firmly. Brightness is pretty bright and gives the wow factor, it’s difficult to make out in pictures, but in person it’s bright. Installation was straightforward, just make sure to follow the instruction guide for placement locations of LED strips, control box, and power supply. Mounting the strips is also straightforward and feels very solid. There are a few minor negative points though. The white color isn’t really pure white, it’s more of a white with hints of blue/purple coloring in it. It looks white enough, but the color isn’t accurate. Running the wires was the most difficult part of the installation. I have no experience in running wires, but I was able to bring all connectors to the control box. Make sure you avoid zip tying the strip wires to suspension components, one iffy area I zip tied was the wire to the control arm of the suspension, but I feel the control arm won’t move too drastically while daily driving. Took me about 5 hours because I was double checking a lot of things, but I’m sure you can install it within 2 hours or so. Overall, good build quality and brightness, but the white color accuracy is not that great. Other colors are very vibrant and accurate though. If you buy this, good luck! It’s a fun install and the results look great 👍🏽

These lights are great, they are very bright and easy to install. I highly recommend them. My niece purchased a set for her car also. I installed both sets if you start from the rear and work your way forward is the way to go. Also pay attention to the 2 36” lights the one with the 10’ wire goes in the rear also place the control box Inside of the car the instructions tell you that. I got the pro kit on my car and the Bluetooth connects quickly without any issues. My niece got the set with just the remote and it works just fine. For the money they are well worth the price. I had an issue with my rear bar it would only change to 3 colors only I contacted the manufacturer and they sent the replacement part free of charge and it worked perfectly fine. If your looking for underglow and easy to install I highly recommend these!!

Purchased the car kit and purchased an add on of 2 light strips for the grill. Will be purchasing add ons for under the hood and 4 for inside the car (2 front under dash and 2 rear under driver and passenger seats). The design of the light rails as aluminum and filling it with a clear silicone type to keep the LEDs in place and to make water proof. LEDs are of exceptional quality as well as the components on the light rails in electrical engineering perspective. The included hardware is great. With 2 mount type options and everything you need except tools to install. The app for controlling the lights is decent but not the greatest. Found the app to sometimes lock up, requiring to fully close and relaunch the app. Overall, buy this you will love it over the others out there. The things for improvement 1. Make the connectors water proof or include heat shrink tubing. The light rails are, why not the connectors too? Seems like an engineering/design oversight. Remedy: is to use marine heat shrink tubing and put over connectors and shrink the tubing over the connector junction until it spooges a little waterproof jelly as I call it. Another option is to solder the connections together or use the crimp and heat seal connectors. 2. Include actual measurements of dimensions as well as distance to dead center of screw holes on tabs. 3. The wire for connecting into a fuse in the fuse box has a very small gauge for the amount of current passing through. End result is the wire to the barrel connector gets hot, potentially a fire hazard? more than likely not as it doesn't get hot enough. Read 143F with a laser temperature reader with ambient air at 92F and 70% humidity and where wire was read was not in engine comparent and wire was not in sun to cause increase of temp. Remedy: 18ga copper twin cable with barrel jack 4. There should be a remote to go with this in the event Bluetooth is not working 5. Include some sort of instructions or at the very least an exact parts list with quantity to verify product is in full and not missing anything. (I am not missing anything that I know of, lol) 6. Adjustable sensitivity to music 7. Include warning of using colors that are not legal to have on while operating a motor vehicle with these turned on 8. App improvements A. Remove splash screen on start of app. We know who you are,please just go to select product a page or automatically connect to a default device B. Manual entry of RGB channels respectively to set custom colors outside of the slide scale. C. It needs to be debugged as it can lock up (3 phones tested running Android)
