Yes you can spend much more (as I did on other brands). the 1080 res on the 4sDot versus the higher priced cameras are not quite as clear but i'm still very satisfied with it. For the price,,, It was super easy to setup and after 2 weeks of use, I decided to try one of their outdoor cameras. Waiting on that now. If that works out as nice, then I'm selling off my expensive system andinstalling all 4sDot cameras.Using the app on my Android phone, is super quick and super easy. Again, the high priced system bogs down, slow as heck, sometimes don't open,,, what's the point?The 2-way audio is reasonably decent. it's not extremely loud but people hear me clearly and it sound like my voice instead of an AM radio. Again, the 2-way audio on the hi-priced system don't work as well.Personally, I'm quite blown away at what I get for the price. If it last a year and I have to replace it, it's no big investment.The only cons to me are:1. no cloud access (at least on the ones I bought)2. I wish I had more control over the videos being recorded on the SD card.3. I can't pull the SD card out and view the videos on my PC. you do have the ability to utilize the downloadable app for windows to view via the camera but it sucks compared to just viewing via the phone. whatever section you wish to have for reference, press the record button on the phone and it records that period until you stop it. Then the recorded video can be downloaded to the pc to watch.

I LOVE this camera. The viewing angle is so wide! I have several other cameras in my home (including nest and infant optics) and none show as much in the frame as this one. The picture is clear and the app is so easy to use. It doesn’t have internal storage or a subscription service (like nest) but I have it inside my home just for monitoring so I don’t need it to hold any memory. I can talk through the camera which is very convenient, and I can control the volume through the app which is actually more handy than i expected. The footprint of the camera itself is small so it isn’t obtrusive, but it’s not small enough to really be hidden. I couldn’t be happier with it!!

This camera is great as long as you are readily in the app viewing the footage. It's the app that you have to download that is the issue, really.. the recording feature isn't accurate for recording, the alerts only work half the time - and when you click on the alerts when they do come through, it doesn't show you the actual "alert", you can't back up a video without it skipping to the day before. I've been in contact with their support team for all the issues but it just doesn't function as you'd need it to for motion. It's better if you only want to view at certain times for specific reasons. I gave three stars because the picture is actually really good.. it just doesn't have the functionality within the app that I need or want to have.

I was looking for a cam to put in my second story bedroom window to catch things that happen outside. Everything is great during the day, but not so great at night. The problem with the camera is the infrared lights. They bounce off the glass. My other (more expensive) camera handled this function well, but these Chinese models that operate off a few infrared lights cannot do the job at night. I have attached a photo of what I see.The set up of the camera was good. I had to reformat my SD card to make things work.I have not been able to review footage off the SD card, but I will try that function later.This camera is ok for what it does, and I hate to give it only 3 stars, but I was hoping that it could handle night vision through glass. I tried to shut off the infrared lights, but that is apparently not possible.

My girlfriend and I use this camera to watch our dog when we're out. It is easy to install. Simple plug it in and connect it with an app on my phone then I was good to go! The picture quality is amazing. Place it on my kitchen counter and it can capture the whole room. I can also zoom in to see details. Another handy feature is that I could speak through the camera, so I can prevent my dog from destroying my home ;)

I super loved the quality of the video!! It’s very clear aswell as the audio. At first i was hesitant to purchased this nanny cam but I’m so glad i did. And it’s super easy to install.

I like the sleek design of this camera. I gave 3 reviews to this camera because, it was somewhat difficult for me to configure it and when it was configured it worked well and was synced with my mobile also. It takes very small space to be placed anywhere needed. In all I like it, and will recommend it.For night vision, I have given four reviews because I was able to locate the clear footage in night.

The range for this camera is excellent! It covers almost all of our entire first floor covering wall to wall. It was east to setup and easy to use. The picture quality is okay, not great but it works well enough. Night vision is about the same. The security alert and alarm is a great added feature and the two way audio work excellent! I purchased this to supplement an existing camera setup so that I can have coverage indoors as my current setup only covers the outdoors of my house. I plan on purchasing another one and setting it up in my detached garage.
