Install was easy. Cable length for.power could have been longer, but it worked. App is nice, seems like it will be reliable enough for what i need.

Easy to install, works great. The quality is pretty good too. My car can get pretty bumpy, but the camera stabilization is pretty good. The field of view for the camera is pretty good too.

The quality in the day is really great, while night quality is ok. If I senses that you broke hard it will automatically save the clip for you, however I’ve noticed sometimes the loop will be missing a minute or couple seconds of the recording after it saves. Size is very discrete, and the features on the camera along with the app is very easy to use. It took me under an hour to instal by myself in my Chrysler van. I may not installed the wires around the car correctly but it’s been doing the job. The videos over loops on your old videos so if you have to save something save it THEN or else it will record your new videos and delete the old ones.

I decided to upgrade my dash cam to a dual camera system and am very pleased with this one, both for functionality, and from customer service standpoints. It consists of a front facing 4k resolution camera and a rear facing camera and included the SD card, cables, and extra adhesive stickers as well as 5 small adhesive cord clips. The cables had plenty of length to cover routing through the length of the car with extra length that I bundled and tucked out of the way. The dedicated app allows easy access to recordings and flipping the video feed if installation orientation means the video is upside down. I can easily save files to my phone or computer and the g-force crash detection will lock a file so it doesn't get overwritten. You can adjust the crash detection sensitivity in the event of rough roads. The video is very clear and a great improvement over my old camera. I also appreciate that it uses a type c plug. Registering the warranty was fast and easy and customer service wanted to be sure everything was working as expected. I would gladly purchase this brand again! I will likely buy a few more cord clips as 5 wasn't really enough but that isn't any flaw with the camera.

So I'm writing this review as of 12/6. I was a witness to an accident a few hours ago and two witnesses were asking me for the footage of the accident. So I gave them my contact info and told them I'll pull the footage when I got home. The ONE TIME I needed the footage from my dash cam, THIS FAILED. THE FILE GOT CORRUPTED but the back camera was working just fine the moment of the accident. It plays slowly on the app and video footage when you really need it is EXTREMELY SLOW. It takes several minutes to be able to pull the footage you need and in this case, I literally couldn't even pull the important footage to be able to provide the assistance the two needed. I am SO EMBARRASSED for the fact that I have the footage and this dash cam failed me. Now I have to explain to both of them that it failed the moment of the accident and making me look like the fool. I am beyond appalled and I can't even describe the guilt I have when I tried to open the file. This camera worked just fine but the moment I needed it, it failed me. So I'm giving it a one star because of it. I can't trust this product if I was involved in an accident and it can't even properly save the file without it being corrupted

Installation is not for the faint of heart. Great product, works well and is a great price. Once installed there’s nothing else to do. In the event of an accident the unit automatically saves the last recording for information and viewing.

During my Use It would randomly stop recording and then restart while driving and it was not a loss of power because my phone would not stop charging. It would also unnecessarily connect and disconnect to Wi-Fi when I was not using it to connect to my phone. If you needed to change any settings or view anything you had to use your phone. when I went to my computer to unload the few recordings it did have all the files were corrupted. once I reformatted the card again and did a test video it was encrypted and I could not view it on my computer. worst one I have used so far. It did have great camera though it was in 4k and 1080p with wide angle of view and the app was basic but easy to use. Edit*** customer service was very responsive when I did my return and was willing to work with me to come to a solution.

Très bonne dashcam avec une image 4K à l’avant et 1080P à l’arrière. L’installation est assez simple et la connexion Wi-Fi 5 GHz permet de consulter rapidement les vidéos depuis le téléphone. Un équipement rassurant et pratique pour garder une trace des trajets.

Zodra ik de doos in handen kreeg, zag ik al dat het kwalitatief hoogwaardig is. Alles zag er piekfijn uit, mooie materialen. Zeer complete inhoud. Het installeren ging moeiteloos en ik had eigenlijk amper de handleiding nodig, alleen voor het wachtwoord om te verbinden met Wi-Fi, en ook dat ging vlekkeloos. De app is gebruiksvriendelijk en stabiel. De camera zelf overigens ook. Ik had wel gehoopt om beide camera’s tegelijkertijd op een scherm te kunnen zien, maar in plaats daarvan moet je via een knop switchen van de voorcamera naar de achtercamera, maar dat kan een persoonlijke keuze zijn. Het is leuk dat de voorcamera naar binnen gedraaid kan worden, zodat je een selfie kan maken. De camera’s zelf maken mooi en scherp beeld. Als je de beelden terug wil kijken, kun je ook inzoomen. Nu een dag in bezit, maar ik ben er zeer tevreden over. Absolute aanrader!

5 out of 5 stars — Incredible Quality, value for money, with 5-Star Support! I am thrilled with the Cievie 4K Dash Cam Front and Rear. The image quality is stunningly sharp day and night. The parking mode works flawlessly in all temperature extremes without issue. Memory management is also excellent; the included 64GB SD card delivers around 4 hours of recording in 4K, and about 6 hours in 2K. Therefore if you wish to record a full 24 hour surveillance in parking mode you'll need to upgrade to a 556GB SD card. Fitting the kit was incredibly easy. To use the parking mode, you just need to hardwire it using the Cievie OBD cable (purchased separately). It simply plugs into the OBD socket located under the steering wheel in most cars — super simple! The wires are very easy to hide for a clean look. I also love the automated female voice that clearly announces when the camera is on, off, and which mode it is in. What truly sets this company apart is their outstanding customer service. I had a slight difficulty during the fitting, but after emailing support, I received a super-quick, five-star response from a fabulous lady named Alina. You can tell how good a company is by their aftercare, and Cievie shines here. Highly recommended!
