Here in Texas our ground water come out of the tap at 68 F in the summertime. My wife asked for a “cold shower” button because she didn’t want to take up the space in our house with a cold plunge, but she read it helps with weight loss and depression. So I combined this with a beverage cooler, an aquarium chiller, an air switch and some aquarium pumps for instant cold shower. I wrapped this in pipe wrap insulation to keep cold losses down. Works great!

Very good product, was very easy to install. NPT fittings sealed well with no leaks heats my domestic water extremely fast and efficiently. My only complaint would be that it did not come with mounting straps, I have PEX tubing that doesn’t support the weight of plate exchange without out it being mounted

We installed the 20 plate exchanger on our hot water heater. Our wood boiler hearts the cold water supply line to the water heater providing us with an endless supply of hot water during the winter months. This addition has saved us significantly on our home electric bill and will pay for itself in just a couple of years. Well worth the investment.

Solid product. Worked as advertised.

Perhaps I should have gotten a bigger one for more heat transfer but for sure we have a noticable difference using 2 chillers with incompatible coolant. This allows 1 chiller to give support to our other over loaded chiller and has dramatically helped.

I upgraded my heat exchanger to this boy, make sure you put enough Teflon on the threaded couplings to avoid any leaks. I used PEX pipe and sharkbite fittings for this application This is my first time doing this project, plumber wanted to charge me $700 for this job wich I said no thanks. Water stays nice and hot around the house Overall is doing what it's supposed to do.
