Was not what I expected.
I work in a building and am the only without a door, which kind of stinks. It's human nature to look at someone when you pass them, but maybe I want to have a frat party and swing on a few chandeliers at lunch? So, I thought I would get a few of these to string across the opening to give me a bit of privacy.I also thought they would be like those (what I call) "hooker beads" you get at Spencer's that make a kind of jangling sound. I thought wrong. These were like the fringe on a flapper dress from 1922.. very soft and pretty, just not what I was looking for.And that was my fault... I had been looking at a number of beaded screens thinking I was looking at the same type of item but Amazon made a classy suggestion when I was looking for something a bit sturdier and more ho-ey..

Very attractive and well made.
The panel is very attractive. I installed it to keep my birds out of the living room.

Good quality.
Very nice silky texture. Good quality at an affordable price. I ordered the blue and it is a very pretty sky blue or robin egg blue.

Thin, sparse
Super thin, the threads are sparsely spread out so it looks less like a thread curtain and more like a bad handmade yarn project

Definitely worth the price
The silver shiny stuff wrapped around the red string comes unraveled and that disappointing.

Ugly.
Not colored as pictured. The gold is more of an ugly, mustard colored gold rather than a lighter, champagne colored gold.

Low-cost decor
I needed an easy to install and low-cost alternative for my conservatory. It gives the effect I needed, which is creating a barrier to view from outside without blocking my view. It helped creating a cozy environment, but quality is not so good, so do not expect much.

CUT A 6 YEAR OLDS NECK!
It’s cut my little sister the picture was taken about half an hour after it happened as putting some cream on was more important then a photo. It’s been great at keeping the flys out but at the expense of my sisters neck it’s gone straight in the bin!

Really pretty
Love these I had already got the silver ones at all my other doorways, they really help keep the flies out. Saying that I feel it best to have two up at each doorway like mine. but the gold is super pretty. love it thank you.

Tangled
Nice colour..catches the sun and sparkles but...tangles really easily. Thrown it away as I was fed up of untangling it. Gaps too big between strands..needs doubling over. Not wide enough to completely double over so some insects still able to come in

Bought 1 and then another 3!
Bought 1 just to make sure we liked it and it was good enough quality. Promptly bought another 2 so that the 3 of them hang from a pole in front of bifolding doors. Did the job perfectly and were able to keep the doors wide open all day through the scorching summer without having a kitchen full of fly's, bees and wasps! Didn't get tangled up when windy but in fairness we pulled the doors to if it was really windy. My kids call them disco curtains because they shimmer in the light.
