I like it, but it doesn’t work for all guitars
I got the black cotton strap. Feels really good quality. It’s soft. It’s comfortable. And I really like the locking feature! I’ve only had it a week or two so can’t speak on its durability yet. I got this strap for a Taylor acoustic but it won’t even connect to it. The strap connection on the guitar is on the bottom back of the neck and it’s too tight for the strap piece to slide over it. So that one is not an option. (see in pics) Then I tried it on an Ibanez acoustic. It connects on both sides, but the placement of the connections on the guitar make it to where the strap needs to twist and be put on face first at the neck. This strap does not allow you to put on backwards, so doesn’t work on that guitar either. (see pics) So, I ended up putting it on a Strat. Works and looks great! I think this strap is more for an electric than acoustic. So if you need one for your electric I would recommend this one. If you’re wanting one for an acoustic, this is not the strap for you. Maybe it will work on some acoustics, but didn’t work on the two I tried.

Quality Product :) Easily Adjustable for All Heights !! Sturdy Strap Lock Included!!!
I am a petite person. This strap adjusts easily to accomodate a wide range of heights. It is well-made, soft and comfortable. A strap lock holder is attached at each end. The holder is cleverly designed and is so easy to attach. The stap will stay lock in place to keep your precious guitar safe. The strap can stay on your guitar and fits easily into the case. It has a beautiful color! I am so happy that I purchased this!!!

Very easy to use, secure lock but also made my guitar a lot lighter and comfy!
At first sight , the strap looks very ordinary. But when actually put it on (it clicks on easily) and can see how the area where it sits on your shoulder is DOUBLED (always use the doubled area for your shoulder). You go well dang, isn't this the best strap I've ever tried? I actually bought one of those super foam padded straps, (KLIQ supercell) which was pretty heavy at least 3x the weight of this one. My guitar is pretty heavy so I thought that would help, but actually I was totally wrong. By using a lighter strap, even though it was less padded my shoulders, neck and back are so much more comfortable! A big part of the pain is the weight, and taking off more than half a pound makes all the difference. My leg no longer falls asleep with the guitar now that I can sit with it, or stand with it for long periods of time and it feels great! Now not saying KLIQ is bad, but i think u must match the strap to the guitar. more weight on a heavy guitar=bad news. I'll see if I can use it on a light guitar, if not I'll throw it in the dungeon. The lock mechanism is great, there's no way the guitar will drop, at least it seems to be very good and the material is great. But anyways I'm really glad I got this strap, I'll likely get another one!

Quality…beautiful.. and peace of mind!
I have several of these! They fit almost any strap button. The blood red is my favorite. The quality is just amazing. D’Addario has really stepped up the innovation factor over the last couple of years From strings, to tuners, to straps…I’m a huge fan. Locking straps make playing so much more enjoyable. Grab a few!!

Protect your prized guitar or bass with this locking strap solution...but can you REALLY trust it?
It feels terrible to purchase a new guitar and then have to immediately remove the factory installed strap buttons and install some locking strap buttons. I am always concerned it will strip the wood inside the drilled hole and the new strap lock button will not tighten properly. I have also had some guitars that had sentimental value and I felt concerned modifying them in any way. This locking strap could be the answer for home use and maybe in a very calm performance environment. Positives: You can quickly pull on the plastic ring and hook the strap over a standard strap button. It will click into place and lock on the button. It is very convenient and overall works great. It's a pretty convenient option to have a locking strap without any modifications. Negatives: I cannot give this 5 stars for a few reasons. 1. It is possible for this to accidentally unclick by having something catch underneath or around the mechanism and accidentally release the locking system. This has happened only a couple times so far and I was able to grab the guitar but if you cannot feel confident that it will work then it kind of defeats the purpose of a locking strap. 2. For reason number 1 I would not recommend this for gigging / live performances unless you don't move around much. 3. This is a minor issue and less common, but in some cases some guitars that have the front or back strap button located in an abnormal spot can cause an issue with the way the guitar naturally hangs from the strap. I added a picture of a Gibson SG where the front button is location on the back of the guitar and not on the end of the top cutaway like normal. Since the strap is desiged to only work the typical way you can not flip it around to connect it backwards on the front to prevent the strap from twisting as much and to keep the guitar better balanced. Conclusion: If you are trying to perform live or have a very expensive instrument I would opt for another option for added confidence that your strap will stay locked. It is a good idea but it is a bit overpriced for what it is. I wish it had some kind of additional security clip to stop the spring loaded locking ring from moving. Since a variety of low cost strap lock rings can be used to secure a regular strap to a regular button this strap kind of misses the mark.

Comfortable guitar locking strap
This is my second locking strap of this brand I liked my first one so much I just had to buy another First one bought one year ago. It was on sale again so I bought the second green one the other is black. This guitar strap does very well locking onto my guitar strap pins, it’s super comfortable and locks on so easily when in use. The strap is adjustable for shorter or longer lengths to suit anyone’s preferences. Others I’ve had would make my neck tired and kinda hurtful but with this strap there’s no issues for me. Just keep in mind not everyone can use or wear something that maybe comfortable as it is for another person. So far though for me it’s been such a great purchase and has the locking ends very easy to use. To lock onto your guitar pins just set it on top of the pins then give it a slight slide and locked on just that easy. To remove the locks ends press down on the outside of the lock and then slide it back now it’s off. To lengthen and shorten your strap adjustment push the strap through the buckle and pull tight and there you have it. Very soft material that fits the contour of your shoulder and neck area. My green color is like a silvery green or army green And of course black is black for my other one. Also I’m using these on electric guitars. Highly recommended and great value priced at this price point

Great; only one (hopefully) minor complaint!
This seemed like the first common sense option for a self-locking strap. I always hated the idea of traditional strap locks. One used guitar I bought had them and they were undesirable for a number of reasons. I got the Ernie Ball web-lock strap, which I was happy with, but am starting to worry it puts too much pressure on the bolts when putting on and off (and you can't leave it on in the case). This strap seems like the perfect answer. It's a much slimmer design, and doesn't hurt the guitar AT ALL to put it on and off. It's dummy-proof, too. Works even easier than I expected. MAKE SURE you have traditional strap bolts, though! Otherwise it may not work! My minor complaint: I was expecting the silver locking component to be made of metal. It's plastic. And the spring which loads it does not seems to be a very light gauge. Perhaps they wanted to make it more effortless, but it's actually so effortless you're not even sure if you did it right! Plus, I worry about the longevity of the mechanism. It seems a tad bit cheap. I'm of the opinion that if you're gonna do it, do it right, and don't try to scrap a few bucks on materials. Make it right and charge the extra $2. For an idea as good as this, people will pay. I think a metal component instead of plastic with a significantly heavier gauge spring will give it a more industrial feel, like it's never gonna break. Right now, I just don't know. I just bought it, so we will see how it holds up! But I like things that feel heavy duty, especially when my guitar is on the line. I wouldn't mind having to push a little bit to make it "click". That would actually give peace of mind and make it more fun to use. Just a LITTLE more heavy components there would be a huge improvement, I think. That said, the actual strap material seems VERY high quality. It's actually the nicest strap material I own by far. It's advertised as nylon, but it feels more like silk! Very thick and comfy, 2 ply material. Very pleasant to wear, unlike any other strap I've ever had. Makes you want to sling your guitar just to enjoy how it feels on your shoulder. VERY happy with that aspect. I haven't tried storing my guitar in the case with the strap on. May not be worth it, as it could possibly hurt the mechanism or the guitar. But that's no worry. When it's THIS easy to put the thing on and off, I have no problem. I just wish, again, that it was a little more industrial. Let's hear and feel a "click" for peace of mind!

Really happy with this Strap - Top Quality
I've been looking for a strap that has the thickness, softness and good build quality for under $20 with no success. The ones I got were of poor quality. I bought this one for $29 and its really awesome. Note there are other locking D'Addario straps that are about $17 and look very similar, those are the PolyPro version, which appears to be thinner (going by the pics). This is the NYLON version which is thick, soft, really good quality materials. Feels good when in contact with the skin. The locking mechanism appears to be very sturdy, easy to use and gives confidence that it will hold up. Comes on and off in seconds, easy to switch it to other guitars. I got the midnight blue version and its just the color I like. I would buy it again for sure.

Best straps on the market
I think these are the best straps on the market - very comfortable to wear for long periods. The strap locking system is genius.

One Strap to fit them all!
I have 4 guitars. Including a Chapmen, Ibanez, Yamaha and acoustic. It fits them all. Not modifications. The strap buttons all fit easily. Some slight movement after fitting, but very secure. One Strap to fit them all! Works a treat. Oh - I went for the 'Skater' Material. I'm glad I did. Nice a soft and unlikely to harm the surface of the guitar. Had a nice natural (cotton) quality about it too, and I suspect it will also age nicely in time.

Hard to fault, good value for money
It's hard to find anything wrong with this strap really. If you're someone who likes the security of locking straps but doesnt want ugly strap ends dangling off your guitars all the time, this is ideal. The strap itself is pretty run of the mill but performs well. It's made of nice material, is wide enough to be comfortable and adjusts easily when you want it to but doesn't slip if you dont. The locking feature clips easily to all my guitars. I've had reports from friends who say if the strap button is extremely wide it can be a hassle clipping and unclipping, but I haven't had this issue. I've had no issues with the mechanism disengaging when i didn't want it to. Overall would thoroughly recommend, if I ever need a new strap I'll definitely be back for another one of these.

Super sangle...
Toucher soyeux, confortable sur l'épaule. Le système de blocage est satisfaisant et rapide. Facile de changer de guitare et c'est plus économique de d'acheter et installer des strap-locks sur chaque guitare.
