I bought this for my daughter to practice doing hair and she absolutely loved it! It was very sturdy and it came in great condition.

The hair quality is good. It is made of synthetic soft fiber. I use this mannequin as a model for my hats that I create for my small business. It has good make up. I put false eyelashes on her to give it a more realistic look. It photographs well. What I paid for this is well worth the investment. It is smaller than a typical adult size head. Be sure to look at the measurements if you needed a true to life size head.

I bought this solely to teach myself how to French braid and try new hairstyles and it’s great for that! She does shed but that’s not a problem for me and she still has a ton of SOFT hair left. My only complaint is that the hair goes so far down her neck and it doesn’t taper in so it makes certain hairstyles look funny. She doesn’t have the best makeup out of the box, but I can assure you that you’re able to do her makeup. She holds eyeshadows and lipsticks amazingly well. All in all, I’m glad I spent the money on her.

I have daughters and zero hair skills. My daughters aren't the "sit still and let Mommy practice" type so I thought I would try on a mannequin head. When it arrived I decided I am not suddenly going to be a brand new person who takes the time to practice hair styles. So I sent this back. Nothing wrong with the product at all-- I just should have had more self-awareness before I purchased.

(Worth every penny) My 12 years old wanted a barbie head so she can practice hair. We have had Barbie heads and the hair is so plastic it's crazy. Also the heads don't last long at all.. So I bought her this. It's 100% better than the expensive Barbie heads. My daughter absolutely love it and immediately started to practice hair. She also named her head Sally. Kids... lol

The apparatus that sets the head onto a chair broke immediately. I contacted and asked for a new part. They sent me a whole new head and then emailed me asking to send back the whole original head, which wasn't the issue.I only wanted the replacement part. My daughter has already been cutting and dying the hair on the first one. I didn't ask for a new head. Seems like a lot of effort when all I asked for was the replacement part.

I was very excited to receive this as I wanted to practice styling hair. When I first got it out of the box it seemed promising. I look at the reviews for some tips and trick and did exactly that. WELL!! I washed it in cold water and some conditioner and as I did that I noticed a lot of hair shedding. Then I went to dry it and it looked like there was so much breakage in the head. After I dried it, I tried to curl it and it would just not hold a curl for ANYTHING! All the curls dropped and then when i went to comb it out with my fingers, the whole head just became frizzy, dry, clumpy, and tough to work with. The worst part is that I just bought a new curler, and THE HAIRS WERE MELTED ON TO THE CURLER! I had it on 350° and only kept the hair on it for about 10-15 seconds, which is what the reviews said to do and that’s what I normally do with my hair. I also ordered the brown color and it came red… so I don’t know if I just got a dud hair doll or what. But it is good for practicing braids and just playing with hair, so good for children.

The hair is soft and realistic - the only drawback is that bangs are challenging, albeit doable, perhaps using a bobby pin to keep the hair in place on top. Also, at first it may seem that the clamp is missing a part. It is not - the ball just needs to be placed through the ring in a certain direction. There’s another company selling this that has a video of someone putting it together if you need to see it. Great practice head, especially for the price!
