DORO 6880 RED 4G 2.8IN 128MB DOROOS

Bought this simple to use push button phone for my elderly Mum, she's getting on fine with it, buttons are big and easy to use, great that caller name comes up on front screen,so far so good I've only had her ask me to help her couple of times, it's a nice size for her to hold and good it comes with a handy cradle to change it so no need to fiddle with putting charger lead in all the time, would definitely recommend this lovely phone,she chose the red one and loves it,Thank you seller,big thumbs up from me

Why did you choose this product over others?: had to replace an older phone as 3G was being removed, so had to 'upgrade' a previous Doro phone with this, or apparently the calls and texts were going to stop, it is a pity that phone providers didn't think of this before cutting the essential service for all elderly users of devices who rely on a phone service. However this works great, and i like the front display too, but it can do with more software upgrades and option to remove unnecassery information form main display screen as the time and date that i don't need on it etc, or at least make it optionally smaller too. Handy charging dock that is great though.

Purchased as replacement for elderly Doro 612 that had finally given up on me after years of good service. I don't use it a lot and don't need internet whilst out and about so a smartphone would be a waste of money. The text screen is crystal clear and a big improvement on the 612 but texting to a named recipient took a little getting used to compared to the 612. The clamshell style is much to my liking even if it adds a bit of bulk to the unit. I've knocked one star off because the Quick Start Start Guide included was a little difficult to read and I needed to print off the downloadable full Manual for more comfortable reading and future reference. After a week or so in use, I'm well pleased with this phone and would recommend its' overall simplicity to anyone not needing lots of features.

If, like me, you are not a Zombie walking around with your head constantly bowed down, perpetually looking at your 'phone for your next instruction! .. and you value your sanity!! .. then this is the 'phone for you. It is well made (not from China! - but Sweden) very neat, very easy to use, has all the basics you need .. and a few more! has proven to be reliable and comes with an excellent set of instructions. In a word .. Brilliant!

Phone was fine but no headset to plug into headset socket - very disappointed - need an answer.
