Excellent Performance for Gaming, Video, and AI Work
I’m using this ASUS TUF RTX-5070 on my PC3 build (i9-12900K, 128GB RAM, Samsung 990 Pro SSD), and it has been fantastic across everything I do. Usage so far: Steam games & Roblox — run flawlessly at high settings with smooth frame rates. Video production — editing and rendering are quick and stable, no lag. AI & ComfyUI — I mainly run smaller AI models, not the very high-parameter ones. Image generation works great, and video generation with lighter models runs smoothly without issues. Performance benchmarks: On PassMark, this system scored 12,883 overall (93rd percentile), with a 3D Graphics Mark of 30,198 (97th percentile) and a CPU Mark of 35,465 (91st percentile). These numbers back up the real-world performance I’m seeing — strong results for both gaming and creative workloads. Highlights: Cooling is effective — fans keep temps under control without being too noisy. The card feels solid and well-built, true to the ASUS TUF line. Power draw is what you’d expect for this class, so make sure your PSU is ready. Bottom line: This card is a perfect fit if you want one GPU that handles gaming, video production, and AI image/video generation without issues. It’s not meant for training massive AI models, but for everything else, it’s more than capable.

Great performance and features!
I upgraded to this card from a 3070ti. The 3070ti gave excellent 1440p performance, but i was starting to see that it was becoming limited by it's 8gb of VRAM (a consistent problem with NVIDIA). The performance uplift from the 4070 Super has been significant, and it comes with 12GB of Vram which should offer peace of mind for several years so long as I stay at 1440p resolution. Although 16GB of Vram would've been better, I also take comfort that I am able to take advantage of the newest and most current Nvidia tech currently available (Raytracing, DLSS, Frame Gen). When the opportunity presents itself i do like to turn on additional eye candy graphical effects and the 4070 Super has is able to do that with performance to spare. There is a lot of back and forth about the viability of Frame Generation. I have played it in a handful of games (Starfield, First Descendant, Cyberpunk, Plague Tale Requiem) and the technology has been truly impressive! Maybe I'm not as sensitive to input latency as others, but to me any additional input lag that may have been added was indiscernible to me while playing these single player games. I would never go to the trouble of enabling for competitive multiplayer gaming. This 3 fan card also runs especially cool and quiet, with absolutely no coil whine. It is also much more power efficient than what the 3070ti did. As it stands, i felt that this card is a much better value, and I don't have buyers remorse. It's a more powerful, feature rich, cooler, quieter and more power efficient card that I hope will serve it's purpose for several years to come!

Perfect upgrade from a GTX 1080
I debated for a long time on upgrading my GTX 1080. Whether to get a 3070 or 4070 and ultimately landed on the 4070 due to it being more recent and having higher memory, 12GB. It is 100% worth the price and is amazing at gaming. Currently use it for 1080p gaming and the temperature never exceeds 55c. Am able to play God of War at a stable 120 FPS and the card is barely hot at all, low 50s. Hooked my computer up to my familys 4K TV and was able to play Cyberpunk 2077, God of War, and Spiderman Remasterd at a solid 60 FPS the whole time. The card also never went over 60c when playing at 4K and God of War looked beautiful. The new card is allowing me to go back and play all the games I love, to enjoy them even more, seeing more fine details in the graphics that my previous GTX 1080 was stuggling at. The card tempartures are incredible, better then my GTX 1080. The sound from the fans are normal, slightly better than the other GTX 1080 I gave to my brother, belive it was an ASUS as well. If you are like me and debate for a long time on what card to pick, brand, and series, this ASUS 4070 OC is amazing, and I am the type of guy who never upgraded past the GTX 1080. This brand of 4070 is amazing. Dont overthink it, just do it! Won't regret it!

Huge Upgrade for Gaming!
This graphics card feels incredibly well-made and substantial right out of the box. The build quality is exactly what I'd expect from a premium component, giving a strong first impression that it's built to perform and last. It installed without a hitch, fitting well within my case thanks to its design, and it just looks like a high-quality piece of hardware that lives up to the expectations set by its description. Putting it to use in games has been fantastic. I immediately noticed a great boost to gaming quality across the board, which was the main reason for the upgrade. Framerates are significantly higher, and features like ray tracing and DLSS really make a visual difference, delivering on the promise of next-gen performance. It handles everything I throw at it with ease, providing a smooth and immersive gaming experience that fully justifies the 5-star rating.

Quality, price, and everything nice!
Overall I am impressed with this card. I upgraded from a 3080ti FTW3 Ultra and almost everybody was saying it wasn't worth it to get it. But I can say for sure that with the newer upgraded A.I. technology, Nvidia reflex, GDDR7, DLSS 4, and the cooling solution being a conformed thermal pad it's for sure worth it. (I can also sell my 3080ti and damn near get my money back from that sale). I was playing the Oblivion remaster with frame gen on to assist with Unreal Engine 5's extreme demands on ultra settings, and the card barely broke 50c for the temps and was easily 100-130fps. Awesome card with a quality build. Note: The board is also covered in a conformal coating to protect against dust, liquid, or anything that could cause shorts. I'm very happy with this purchase. Quick note for people complaining about the frame gen causing input lag, don't even bother listening because you wouldn't even need to use it on FPS titles anyhow where it would matter. It's only reserved for mainly single player titles and the input lag is so minimal; a great example is "Indiana Jones and the Great circle," I never once thought about the input lag while playing with frame gen X2 on while having 140fps. Great upgrade if your coming from any 20-series, or low/mid 30-series card.
I've been using a 2080 Super for 5 years, and it's been a good run, but I wanted to try some new features like Ray Tracing and mess around with some AI models. Yeah, the 20 series technically had RT, but the performance hit felt like kicking the card in the balls, so I never turned it on. I decided to upgrade. At the time of this review, prices are wild, and I couldn't find a good deal on a new 40 series card, so I went with this 5070 OC TUF edition. Yes, it's $190 more than the MSRP, but it's also a better-built card, meaning the components like capacitors, VRMs and fans are of higher quality than some cheaper versions and should last longer. Plus, good luck finding any card at MSRP right now. Observations: I remember thinking the 2080 was big, but the 5070 is the guy she told you not to worry about in comparison, and thankfully it comes with one of those fat-boy sag sticks to support the back of the card, because it needs it! So make sure your case is big enough to fit this beast. Games look beautiful! I'm finally getting good FPS with RT on in games like CyberPunk at higher settings. I think this card shines at 1440P, which is what my monitor supports. But if you want 4K, you'll probably want to buy a higher-end card. Rendering and exporting video in Premiere Pro is considerably faster than with my old 2080S. It's quieter than my 2080S too. My Verdict: If you're running something older like me, or a lower-end 30 series, then go for it! But if you have a 3080 or better, or a 4070 or better, you probably won't notice enough of a difference to make this card worth buying. It's a good card for what it is, and one of the best-built versions of the 5070 you can get. But it's also expensive, and you might have to wait on shipping like I did. That's the only reason I'm knocking off a star. Hope this helps! Edit: I don't notice any coil-whine. My ears are 40 years old, but I can still hear a sick CRT flyback. I just saw that it was mentioned, so I thought I'd chime in.

Perfect for My Custom Build
Built my custom PC around this card and couldn’t be happier. It runs super quiet, temps stay low even during long gaming sessions, and performance is amazing smooth frames on every game I’ve tried so far. The build quality feels premium, and the RGB looks clean without being over the top. Definitely worth it if you want power and reliability.

A Wonderful GPU That Will Level Up Your Games Completely
Absolute beast of a graphics card here (in both power and size!) Upgrading from a 3070 to this 5070 OC was a vast difference. I'm getting double or triple FPS on games after making the GPU swap. The ASUS TUF version was the one to go with, honestly. The fans are so quiet on this model, and it looks extremely protected based on its construction. I will note however, that I failed to realize exactly how giant the new 50 series of cards were! That was my own mistake. It was roughly double the size of my 3070 unit. I had to actually make some adjustments and swap out one of my fans to a different location for it to fit. Just ensure that you have enough room in your case beforehand! It fits fairly well in my mid-size tower after adjusting that unforeseen mistake on my end. Simple and easy to snap into the PCIE slot, just like any other GPU. Just ensure you have a Power Supply Unit with one of the PCIE 5 connectors. While you don't need a PCIE 5 motherboard for it to run. You will need the correct cord for the PSU in order to hook it up after inserting the card into the slot. Overall, very pleased with my purchase! Looking forward to smooth sailing through the next few years of gaming with this addition!
