Fresh Sapodilla (Nispero) 3 Lbs

They are big, and absolutely delicious. It came unripe, allowing for travel. Once ripened it was absolutely delicious. We also got a black one for free to try. Unfortunately we cut it too early (unripened) so didn't get a chance to enjoy that. Overall, expensive, but my husband loves it so worth it.

The product became molded and remained hard and shriveled. Unable to eat any of it. This shipment was horrible. It seems freeze dried. Not naturally picked from a tree. I am so disappointed. Waited for then to ripened and it never became edible. Attached is a video of some.

Sapodillas taste like Anjou pears rolled in brown sugar. Really. There is no other way to describe them, and they are about the sweetest fruit in the world. I have always had good luck ordering from this company, but recently had an order go astray in the mail. Jennifer took care of the problem right away, and shipped me a replacement order ASAP which arrived in good condition. They not only supply rare fruit at a fair price, but also excellent customer service. I highly recommend them.

3 of them did not ripe. Given the price (cheaper in my country) and since I only got 8, it's kind of a bummer that 3 were not edible. I put them all in a paper bag and some bananas too, to help with the ripe, but nothing. The taste was great, but getting it to taste like back home was somewhat of a trial and error. All in all, I'm happy with this purchase, and will purchase some more, but I think the price could do well with a few dollars of, imho.

La primera vez que los pedí me encantó y decidí volver a ordenarlos sabiendo que estaban un poco caros para la cantidad, pero esta vez quedé decepcionada. De los 6 nísperos uno me llego ya desbaratado, uno dañado por dentro y otros 2 que siguen como roca y aún no se maduran pero están ya todos arrugados. No valió la pena. Diría que fue una perdida de dinero

Bought 21 times before. Product which came few weeks ago, was unripe, solid like rock, had to throw away the whole bag. Fruits were also very small like marbles, so poor quality control in shipping

I was weary because of the reviews but wow I was pleasantly surprised. They were all ripe within 2 weeks. I ate about one a day. They were delicious. Very expensive for just 9 of them but well worth it.
