I had fairly low expectations for these budget friendly traction boards - but I’ve been very pleasantly surprised by the exceptional build quality of these boards. They’re solid, surprisingly heavy and stack perfectly. At the time of writing this review I have not yet had to use them but I’m expecting a good performance. They may not be MaxxTrax but I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase these at all. Great product!

Drove 85,000km from arctic circle to Baja. Used them to level truck every night and they have held up well. I needed them twice in sand stuck with a 12,000lb truck camper. You can see the wear on them but they still work. As long as. You don't spin tires on them or use them for bringing a gap they will work well

I’m an idiot and drove my 4Runner all the way into that mud hole, 8 miles up a forest service road, without a winch. These saved my a$$!! Hours of digging and using the boards got me out. After cleaning, they are still in perfect shape. 50 pounds of Kentucky mud on them when I pulled them out, no way to clean them, but they came with waterproof bags so I wrapped them and put them back inside my truck without getting mud even more everywhere!! Perfect boards for a fraction of the price of some.

At less than halve the price of the famous orange ones it works just as well. I have both and maybe the Max Trax will have a longer life, but so far these perform as well for my use. And sure I am not 300 days in the field getting in trouble. But used them for my own recovery and other peoples. Having 4 boards is useful in sand driving.

Great for snow, haven’t tried in mud or sand. Quick and easy storage in my Tacoma, I gave it 4 out of 5 because they don’t send straps advertised in picture
