This is the 2nd tape I've tried for my large great room area rug . . . it is staying snug/no-slip, AND it lays nice & flat -- my coffee table that rolls around that rug area used to 'ripple' the rug -- not any more, since I've secured it with this tape -- I'm happy!!

Ok, I bought this because we have a cat that WILL NOT stay off the counters. I was going through a lot of carpet tape and figured I'd get a big roll. Oh wow. It's sticky and guess what? The cat decided he wouldn't jump up there so much. I think I'm winning. ;) (Noticed I said "think" LOL)I've tried everything and that was a last resort.It also works great for carpet and I've used it on rolled vinyl flooring as well on the corners.I'd buy this again. Very useful.

There are some negative reviews, this tape is covered on both sides so I measured what I needed cut the length pulled the first piece of paper off face down to floor which had a pencil mark for 1/4 behind edge of carpet. Lined it up smoothed it down the peeled the top off laid throw rug on it lining it up and it has not moved yet. No one has tripped and my office looks fantastic! Measure, mark and stick

The tape you peel off needs to be thicker so it will not curl so easily.

We have a runner in our hallway & 2 kitchen rugs. They had so-called non-slip pads under them but they were forever moving & being tripped over. My husband found this tape and ordered it. It works GREAT!!! Rugs don’t move anymore!!! Easy to put on!!!

Follow the directions and you should be OK, but the stuff sticks to scissors and skin. Once you get it on the floor and your throw rug 'mounted' to it, that rug ain't gonna move! I used it on tile for throw rugs, but plan on putting it under a larger area rug on carpet. It's the devil to get off your fingers and be CAREFUL to keep the tape STRAIGHT ..no twisting!! Once it's twisted, it's over. No way to 'straighten' it out. Believe me, this is nothing like Scotch Tape, or Duck Tape .. Believe I'll try dipping my scissors in a light oil once the tape is placed and I'm ready to cut that section off. It's gooey .. so be careful when using it. The stuff DOES keep your area rugs from sliding, though, and that's why you need it .. right?? Good luck!!

I cant believe i finally found a carpet tape that works. We use this for the runners we have on our wood stairs. With 5 dogs and a busy family of 4, our stairs take a busy beating and this is holding up so well.

Very pleased with the durability and stickiness of this tape. Great for the price too. Adheres well and holds extremely well. I use it for many projects, not just for carpet.
