Ford M65293V Rocker Arm

Perfect! This is the part youre looking for if you've got your valve train open on the 5.4l 3v... (most likely for a timing job). It's nice to get the roller-followers and lash adjusters in the same kit. This IS the updated genuine Ford part with the corrected smaller oiling holes to better lubricate. Installation was NOT easy... but the product its self is whats needed and my truck runs so smooth now after this... timing job... and the high volume oil pump. Better to do it all at one time!

It's been about 12months since purchasing this lifter rocker kit for a 2006 f350 5.4. Truck is quiet as can be. No longer sounds like a diesel. Quality product. Cost alot but quality is there. No complaints. Definitely don't wanna do this job twice.

Purchased for and installed into a 2011 Expedition 5.4L engine with @185,000 miles. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that these are indeed the updated followers with the smaller oiling hole. They are genuine Ford parts. These were replaced as part of a complete timing overhaul job. The lash adjusters are a breeze to install. The roller followers probably heard every curse word known to man since the stone age. The Ford Tech Loco guy says in his youtube videos, which I highly recommend watching 4-5 times before attempting this for the first time then again while doing the job, it is a pain and time consuming to put these back in. Taking them out is pretty easy. Have a magnetic pick up tool. Repeat. Have a magnetic pick up tool. If you have larger sized fingers you are in for a day of fun on the bun. The Ford guy must have tiny hands because he manipulated the followers fairly easy. Make sure you follow the timing sequence in the video for re- installation. It is time consuming if you are doing this alone. After the entire job was completed, I drove the Expedition @3500 miles from Newport News, VA to Austin, TX, to Alexandria, VA then back to Newport News, VA pulling a 16ft enclosed trailer. The Expedition ran great. I would highly recommend this kit to anyone that is going to do this job. I purchased the timing replacement kit from another online parts store RA. They have a lot of different kits and price ranges. I chose the Cloye kit.

seems to be well made, the castings are good, and the rocker followers are the new style with the smaller hole and pointed towards the rocker, soak the lifters in oil overnight before install, only 30 miles on the complete replacement so far so cannot speak to longevity

Like others mentioned, these are indeed the new design rockers with the smaller oil hole, which I was glad to see. The kit included all 24 rockers, and all 24 lash adjusters (they actually accidentally gave me 25 lash adjusters. Haha woops!) Got quoted $1100 for the same parts at the Ford dealer, so deeeefinitely go with these instead. I just finished the timing job with these new ones, and the engine overall seems quieter and smoother. And of course, another thing others have mentioned... the lash adjusters were super easy to install (though taking the old ones out required a bit of finagling since some of them were kinda stuck - just pull harder haha). The rockers though... those were NOT fun to install. Especially if you have the AC accumulator in the way. My suggestion there is to unscrew the accumulator plastic housing from the two screws holding it in place, then pull it off (requires some fighting to do so), and shove it out of the way. Should give you JUST enough room to put the OEMTools (or OTC Tools) rocker install tool in place.
